.....or you can just have a killer rig with a 3x23" eyefinity setup : P Actually I'm glad you posted this because I think I can use FOV adjustment to reduce the stretching effect I get at the edges of the side screens. Not entirely sure if I want to give up the magnifying effect I get from it though....although I will basically have more magnification on my main screen if I adjust my FOV down.

I'm also getting the same 14 files failed to validate when I do verify game cache on OA. I could have sworn on my old hard drive both A2 and OA both would only come up with one everytime you run it. I really don't know. This is byfar the single most difficult game to get working I've seen in my entire life and I've been around the FPS mod community for more than a decade : /

Okay everything is just completely buggered now. Wiped even all the way back to steam, tried to find every single little file I could for anything having to do with steam or A2 or dayz commander. Full reinstall of everything. Jump into my favorite server and managed to play for a few hours until I had to get up and eat dinner so I shut off the game (server I was on kicks for lobby idling). Come back and now most servers are booting me. It seems the ones that aren't are mostly ones with non-standard loadout. Any server with regular rules (not the settings like third person) seems to want to boot me with either regular "You have been kicked from the game" to "Battleye: Client not responding"......I'm am at such a loss as to how to fix this.....its even affecting lingor where as it never affected it before.

Okay I got the shortcut to work....sorta. I get a few errors loading into the game and when I'm in I can't seem to filter to the DayZ server I play on usually.

Private hive whitelist is def the way to go.....so much easier to control hackers that way.

Can someone elaborate as to how I create this shortcut?

My windows 7 isn't liking those parameters for a shortcut...."The file C:\Program cannot be found"...I even changed it to Program Files (x86)

Yes to everything except the shortcut thing. Is there somewhere in Dayz Commander I put this or what?

well it ain't steam. Just got a BE: Client not responding within 30 seconds of getting into my fav private server. I don't see where another reinstall of arma and dayz is going to really help.....maybe a reinstall of everything including steam?

damnit please don't tell me its steam.....I've gotten so used to playing with steam overlay. Unfortunately that is one thing I haven't checked so it's a distinct possibility : /

Takes about 2 minutes or so of playing and I get this. This is driving me bonkers. Just did a fresh install right after a fresh windows install on a brand new SSD so I doubt total reinstall will do anything. Already checked file integrity and replayed both SP games. Already deleted and replaced the battleye client dll. Any other ideas?

Seems to have mysteriously fixed itself. Not really sure if it was something I did or the servers I play on changing something but all is dandy now.....well besides the fact that my millitary offroad is gone after spending nearly a week trying to fix dayz then installing an SSD and doing a wipe and then trying to fix dayz again ><

I know its not my router....have 3 other people in the house who are on just fine. One thing I noticed, tried verifying A2OA again and it once again came up with 14 errors instead of the standard 1 so I'm currently waiting on DL for reinstalling AO. If this doesn't work is there a way to save a file with your cd key, copy the game files of someone who has the game working fine and then paste my cd key back in there?

I have been....after this patch I don't even get into the lobby of alot of servers till well after this point. And thats freezing at the loading screen. I am in and playing and at least seeing zombies for about 30sec-2min every time.

BTW this was after getting a Script Restriction #44 if that helps

Everyone I check this option severs will boot me saying" bad version" or something to that effect. Anybody know how to fix this? I really want to be able to user Steam overlay in DayZ.

No playground, Ferris wheel or nuclear power plant....pretty sure it's not.

I'm currently running the game in 5916x1080 Eyefinity mode and would really love to be able to get my UI back in the center screen. I know other Eyefinity games have a simple UI scaling option that will do that but I can't seem to find anything that allows me to do this in DayZ. Anybody know of a way to accomplish this?
