Well I figured it out....just in case anybody else has this problem. Turns out my roommate didn't secure our wireless all that well and people have been getting on our wireless bumping me down further and further on the bandwidth priority list....he reset priorities and everything is gravy now. I told him a million times to check the router settings too ><

Ugggg......I've done that probably close to 50 times already. It's not that...Trust me I know how to use google I've tried basically every dayz/Arma fix I can find out there and even trying to my own ideas.

Any ideas people, does this look like something that might take an FDisk to fix?

Well this is odd I managed after 2 times of getting "Signature check timed out" I managed to get on 2419 for most of the night with no problem. Unfortunately right as soon as me and my roomy found a car we get the Gangnam Style dance hack going and both jet out of the server for a few minutes. Now its tons of "Signature check timed out" with a few "Battleye: Client not respoding" and even one lobby kick that showed as some "bad OA file" error for my roommate, not sure.

Well now my roommate has seen twice in a row it say "Signature check timed out"....any ideas, a search turned up plenty of people with the problem but no solution.

Well sob that didn't fix it. My error is "You have been kicked from the game." on my end. The one time I got my roommate to see if there was a code i wasn't seeing it was a "Wrong signature file..." error. This is driving me freaking bonkers now. I've reinstalled so many times it makes my head spin and this is on a fresh ssd with a fresh install of windows, nothing else put on except internet (including proper protection) and anything I need to run dayz and thats about it. This has been happening on random servers off and on (although my favorite server has only not kicked me once since this), being fairly rare that I can stay on one without the kick within 2 minutes. I've tried different connections too to no avail. Why does this game have to be so damn stingy I've been trying to play it for a month now : /

First of all let me go back a bit. Just got a brand new ssd 2 weeks ago, installed windows on it and then installed Arma and then DayZ. For the first few days I was having trouble with many servers kicking me off for Battleye: Client not responding. Tried all sorts of fixes with a bit of success (had to reinstall Arma 2 from dayz commander after each time I got off a server). Hadn't played all last week and tried to jump back on yesterday only to get plain old "You have been kicked from the game" on so far all but one private server I've tried. Only had 2 public servers do it to me though. So far I have tried every fix from BESetup chklst file to manually installing battleye (even though it never has a problem updating in game) to straight up wiping every trace of the game I could find (I mean all of arma 2 and dayz) off my computer and then starting from scratch.....and I'm still getting the exact same error. Every great once in a while it will actually be the BE: Client not responding but its mostly just no explanation you have been kicked. It happens anywhere from 2 seconds after I click okay in the lobby of a server to 2-3 mintues after I get in and am playing. One thing I've noticed that is rather odd though since this new HD is everytime I verify game cache on A2: AO it always finds 14 files that failed to validate except once after the reinstall it showed 10. I think either this or some hardware incompatibility with the new patch is my problem. Any suggestions?

Can somebody please tell me what I need to do in my registry. I deleted 2 folders in there and ran verify on both Arma 2 and OA then played both. Jumped on DayZ got kicked. I go back and look in my registry and both those folders have not been recreated. Thankfully I know to do a backup so I'm going to restore the old registry but I still don't know exactly what I need to do here. Do I need to just clear the registry entries or what? I can't find anything that tells me what I need to specifically go after.

nvm I got it figured out. Getting the Wrong signature file crap and yes it seems as if it is a registry problem. Can't seem to find any guides on exactly what I need to delete in my registry though. Anyone able to help?

Can somebody possibly hop on the same server as me to see if there is possibly a kick message I haven't been able to see that might shed some light on this? Please contact me steam name: rushthezeppelin

Manual install still has not fixed a damn thing....didn't even touch dayz commander this time. Anybody got any ideas? Perhaps a registry file I'm not cleaning when I do these reinstalls is the culprit? I'm desperate to get this game running, it's the only game I've had any interest in in almost a year.

Man this just gets better. Now I want to try a manual install and it seems that DayZs own download doesn't have but up to 1.7.6....no 1.7.6.1. Anyone know where I can download it?

Still happening now in 1.7.6.1......seriously this has been a month now I've had this problem. Any other ideas?

I've been having pretty much the same problem since the update to 1.7.6 (which I also happened to switch from a Raid0 setup to a SSD HD with a fresh windows install). Most to all servers kick me with either "You have been kicked from the game" or "You have been kicked from the game Battleye: Client not responding". I've have tried at least 4 or 5 total resinstalls of Arma now (even two with a full resintall of Steam). The servers I can get on seem to be random and change from day to day (although I have yet to be able to stay on my favorite whitelisted server). It even started affecting Lingor and other maps where it didn't at first. I have tried individual fixes on BE, tried different connection types. I'm at a freaking loss I haven't been able to play the game in close to a month now and I've been trying fixes about 5 days a week. I've done basically everything short of a full Fdisk.

Well did a repair on .Net as well as installed a few optional windows updates. Still nothing. Anyone have any other ideas. Only thing I can think of doing is just Fdisking and starting all over again but I'd rather not have to resort to that (granted not like theres any important stuff for me to lose atm).

Any chance this could be a .net framework problem or would it seem a little more obvious than generic errors? I think I've pretty much eliminated anything having to do with Amra 2/DayZ installation, so the only thing I can think of is something that went wrong in my recent windows install : / Just in case too I'm going to post up my system specs, I haven't heard of any hardware incompatibilities with this game but who knows: Sabertooth 990fx mobo Phenom II 1100T BE 3.2ghz (no overclock atm) Intel 520 series 120gb SSD 2 x 6950s crossfired; one is a MSI Twin Frozr other is a Sapphire FleX (no overclock on either, pretty sure I even took off the stock overclock of the twin frozr since its crossfired, neither is unlocked to a 6970 either) Running in eyefinity 5916x1080

Well I tried it on RJ45 and no difference...any other ideas?

Let me rephrase that I have cable internet going over wifi....it isn't some wifi hotspot crap, but its still not RJ45.

Anyone? Does this sound like a problem that could be caused simply from playing on a wifi connection? Perhaps my first major packet loss kicks me?

I'm pretty much out of ideas now. After yet another reinstall things are looking worse. I didn't even get one initial gaming session this time. So far I've been kicked off every server. At some point my backpack with a M4A1 CCO SD and a bunch of water and med supplies just disappeared too. Could this possibly have anything to do with the fact that I'm on wifi (just bought a brand new house that the previous people who had it under contract didn't opt for the RJ-45 prewiring....assholes)? I've been looking at possibly trying out MOCA adapters (network over coaxial) but I don't want to spend a bunch of money only to find it doesn't fix anything.
