You give the wind too much credit there. A look at trees/grass etc, 1 or 2 clicks.. done. It's just one more zeoring button but not something that adds "difficulty". Heck shooting isn't even the hard part in sniping. Anyone can be a good triggerman, it's the stalking and concealment parts that seperates a sniper from a gunman.

Wind and atmospheric pressure.. yeah cause dayz engagements are all at the +-800m mark now aren't they. The accuracy is actually horrific as it is. Take a proper sighted M16 IRL with iron sights, line it up centre target and pull your trigger. You'll hit it right there no problem. There's no hand holding when hitting something in the game is harder than hitting something IRL.

Bad idea. They'll just find something else to cry over. It's a sandbox game where you can do as you please. Yet there always have to be a couple' o dickbags who feel that their preffered playstyle is THE playstyle and anyone else should be forced into that direction. I know it's not inteded but still it's not an unauthentic portrayal. If you slap a scope on a weapon IRL it's not gonna be properly sighted either. You'll have to shoot a few groups and adjust the sights according to where the centre of your grouping is.

It's a bloody game. I'm a law abiding citizen IRL and feel that anyone hurting another person for whatever reason or gain they hope to get needs to get fucked senseless by the long cock of the law. Funny how some people seem to believe that tent's will magically spit out uber-gear for anyone that comes back to one after a respawn. You'll have to stock 'em first. And unlike your toon they're going to be on the server 24-7. Exposed all the time. It's not a question of IF it will get plundered but WHEN. And again you will lose far more from the raid on your camp than you could ever lose on your toon. Just accept that it will be here.

Haha. Indeed they always will blame streamsniping. But then again... even if it is, that comes with broadcasting your position to everyone. Dayz is unforgiving, streamers have no exception.

Exactly. This is why the "you can just run back and gear up" thing doesn't fly. It's also not like tents just magically spit out gear.. you'll have to gather all of it first.
