I am on around day 30 now...

I place barbed wire in bushes through high traffic areas... just for the hell of it.

Not sure if there is a server problem or if the admins are kicking everyone who joins, but 4 of us joined and each got kicked after about 90 seconds.

Our group plays as female so that we can tell each other apart from the other players.

I get so paranoid about not having a compass, that I went to the store and bought a new one in real life the other day. Aside from that, an Alice Pack, hunting knife, matches, and ranged weapon.

I am not saying that this applies to the OP, but anyone who arbitrarily kills other players and then claims the moral high ground with respect to server hopping is very delusional.

Loot hopping isn't and exploit. It is a 'feature'. :)

I would wager that the largest number of deaths are self-induced. After dying, spawn, kill self, respawn, kill self, respawn... until you get the location you want. :) Hell, sometimes I have to do it 7 or 8 times before I get the town I want.

Crawled next to a tree. Got stabbed by the root ind insta-died... ending my 20 day life.

Me and my buddies used to despawn in barns and whatnot... getting popped in the noggin by an enfield after logging in a few times cured us of that habit. Now we vacate before... well... vacating. :)

Put the shore to your back and run... find a barn... enjoy. That's what I did and made out okay.

It is funny to see people argue for a 'realistic' experience... but argue against having night visibility being realistic.
