I still dont think that those who have been following the game since early enough and actually know what they are getting into will complain whether or not its in a decent state. Of course you will still have the people that complain no matter what state the alpha/beta/release comes out in but theres not much you can do to please them IMO.

I think you and I both know that people will ignore that part and just focus on the part about tommorow's review.

Once again, nobody is asking them to set a date, the problem is that there was a date that was repeated several times and that date has passed and we had no morsel of information. A simple "We are still working on critical parts of the standalone and currently do not have an ETA" would be fine. Instead we get silence. And silence loses sales.

Of course they arent going to count on it. But they will try to squeeze every penny out of the game while they can. That is the only good buisness sense there is. Anything else and someone else will do it better than you.

Just because BI made money off of mod sales they somehow are going to completely ignore another opportunity to make money? Thats not how buisness succeed.

You cant honestly believe that profit is secondary. Im sorry to burst your bubble but despite how much rocket wants the game to live up to its potential, if he does not please the investors then there will be a lot of consequences and the game will not reach its potential.

Nobody is saying that the game needed to come out FFS. What we are saying is that rocket stated multiple times in presentations that he did that the game was going to come out in 2012, nobody should be upset if the game got pushed back to 2013, what people have a right to be upset about is that there were clearly promises that were said multiple times that the game would come out by a certain date and that date has been reached and we have had ZERO communication about the postponment of the game. If this is honestly the way things are going to be handeled then rocket WILL lose sales.

This is an extremely unproffessional way of handling this.

today me and my group of friends were flying around in 3 helicopters just chilling, helis full of gear and we were having fun just picking up people from the coast, shooting at bandits etc. All of a sudden we all get forcebly ejected one by one out of the helicopter. As we are falling like flies we hear a hacker just cackling over direct chat as we die. We end up dying and are not able to recover any of the gear we had and lose helis that we spent hours fixing. This is the single only reason I want the SA to come out, tired of dying all of a sudden and knowing that someone unfairly cheated and robbed us of the time we spent on that specific character.
