allrighty) after searching and looking through the forums on the topic of multiple profile config files, I came up with a total sum of ZERO thoughts or suggestions regarding this matter. still unsolved.

Hi there! Please explain to me as short as possible. Before the last patch(before you could change your name in game) I had 2 folders regarding dayz. 1 was C/Users/Name/My Documents/DayZ And in it I had a single DayZ.cfg file 2 was C/Users/Name/My Documents/DayZ Other Profiles And in it I had a folder named after my "Steam Profile Name", and inside it I had a Config file(Steam Profile Name.DayZProfile) for my game settings. Now there is a new Config file at C/Users/Name/My Documents/DayZ, named dima.DayZProfile. dima is my name and also my computer name, so i guess thats why its default. And after I joined a server for the first time since the patch, my character was a freshspawn, since I spawned in the middle of a town somewhere, zombies immediately ate me. I joined another server, and Voila! my old character is back, not shure if it`s the same one from my last session, since I spawned in Berezino(logged off way up north prior to the patch). Since my settings got reset, I quickly logged off, to change, them, and after that, I`m a freshspawn again, but resieved a message about not being able to load a character or something. So which one of the two DayZProfile`s is my new one, and whether I should delete one of them so they don`t conflict liek that, or something. 2muchfrustration, please help)

Thanks for the responce) Did you check out my screenshots? I don`t know what distance they were taken at, but if you could confirm that my view distance is ok, that would be very comforting, and set my worries to rest, thnks)

If any one could give me an answer to this question What settings effect how far I can see other people and objects on the floor? So I could max those, and dont bother with the rest.

Have 25 fps, but it doesn`t feel the same as before I got 25 fps on low settings. Everithing seem laggy, like before I din`t mind the low fps, but now I can see the stuttering.

Not shure where to post this, if any admit could redirect my post to a proper location, would appreciate it) I`m looking for a balance between good fps and a long Player view distance. When I say, player view distance, I mean the distance I can see other players from. I used two positions and 3 "modes" sort of speak, first has no zoom, 2nd has right mouse button klick zoom, nad 3rd is an M4 ACOG scope. Just to confirm, Helmets protect u as stated in the description. I survived a headshot from a mosin, about 300m distance. I was unconscious for like a min or so, and after i came back, bandaged myself, i saw that my previously pristine Ballistic Helmet and Rocket Aviators were in fact ruined, kept those lucky glasses after that encounter)

Awesome idea, it reminds me of how Brad Pitt taped some magazine to his arm in World War Z, it is awesome way to keep them biters at bay while srabbing them in the eye with a screwdriver, have some beans my friend)

Dual weilding pistols only, and being able to carry 2 things in 2 hands like proper human beings. Pistol+torch is mandatory imo
