You're on the same CD-Key on both computers. Run Arma 2 OA from PC 2 with Steam Account 2 via Steam, then you should have the key from your 2nd Steam account on PC 2. -

Arma 2 itself will choose how much RAM it will use, your startup parameter is useless. My max. usage was around 2,1 GB. -

ACR models are not used in DayZ... Also, a lite version of ACR is not included in Combined Operations 1.62. For multiplayer compability, everyone would have to download the A2:CO compatibility MP patch ( ACR lite ) . -

Turning up the resolution will only make the game run even worse and turning the interface res down will make no difference in-game, the hardware simply isn't up to this game. Nothing you can really do about it.

While the stuff you linked is entirely C#, a vast minority of these people reading it know how to do anything with it. Memory based hacks are indeed popular, however those available are pretty much constantly detected, and those who make their own - well, they can sometimes still be detected and I assume there are very few people capable of writing their own stuff, even with tutorials like these.

As I answered previously: No. I guess it's more like you put a wrong GUID in the admins.xml/ you confused the GUIDs in the file or something like that...

Yeah, it's totally BE's fault that the game uses insecure CD-Keys and that people don't even have common sense about maintaining basic internet security on their system. -
I like the idea, it's an interesting way of doing normal stuff instead of pressing e.g. "clean weapon".

Dafuq? OA was released in 2010 and BE is updated whenever it is needed, since the release of DayZ there have been more than 50 BE Client updates, leave alone the detection routines and server updates... Also, I'm not against your because you are trying to help, I'm just getting some facts right and bust some myths caused by lack of knowledge, like ^ this. -

BE is superior to VAC in any way regarding hack prevention and detection. The reason for it being ineffective in OA is the insecure engine and mostly massive CD-Key theft (therefore cheaters are not afraid of bans). But it's as effective as an AC can get in this game... The reasons for the SA using VAC only at first are different from BE not being good.. as far as I can see the dev team thinks VAC is enough to protect the game with it's new architecture, but I don't think so - VAC has failed horribly in games like CS X, MW2/ MW3 and Homefront, for example. All of these games use a modern server-client architecture. Plus, it is available at no extra cost if your game uses Steamworks. But we'll see pretty early how things work out in the SA.. That is incorrect. Players can only get banned from a local server for picking up weapons that are not present in the mod.
