U know why? Read the fucking rules. "Note that you will not receive a response if the evidence clearly indicates that you or someone else using your cd-key cheated. It doesn't matter if you only cheated on your own private server. Cheating on BE-enabled servers is forbidden, period." " Do not ask for the evidence behind your ban. No details about it will be revealed. Hackers would love to have access to this information." Source

Every freshly spawned victim should have an ATV
nik21 replied to [email protected]'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
My opinion to this suggestion: -
I said when a GPU is at 60% usage it is not the bottleneck causing shit fps. You should try to find out your minimum fps in the Arma 2 Benchmarks. Just turn AA and the resolution down to make sure the GPU is not bottlenecking and run Benchmark 01 and 02 located in Arma 2 Singleplayer - Scenarios.

Kicked from every server: BattlEye Script restriction #98
nik21 replied to Majeye's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
mhm sure. I call people dumb because they obviously don't know shit about the anti cheat software and flaming and judging about it without even knowing who or what is responsible for those restriction kicks. -
Kicked from every server: BattlEye Script restriction #98
nik21 replied to Majeye's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Then you are dumb. No anti cheat system would ever deal like that. See my post above. -
There is no problem with your GPU, neither with DayZ/ Arma 2. If your GPU is at 60% Utilisation and your fps is still crap, it's because of the server/ your CPU/ your HDD/ your RAM or whatsoever. Got that?

Looks like we have another 40cm Problem Vote4close
-
If you turn Antialising, post processing effects and other GPU based shit to the max, your GPU will be easily at 100% load. If the GPU is below 100% load, another component of your computer is responsible for low fps.

Kicked from every server: BattlEye Script restriction #98
nik21 replied to Majeye's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
What the fuck is everybody talking. A script restriction kick is not done by BattlEye itself, it's done because of the scripts.txt, which is created by the admin of the server - in this case the dayz dev team. The BattlEye System is not responsible for Restriction kicks, the creator of the used scripts.txt is. -
Whats the problem? The GPU will be used if it's neccessary.....

Same problem 4 me, I think it's because of my weak Internet connection. 800 kbits ~ 90 kb/s download.

[Battleye's activity] Updated daily with the effects of active banwaves
nik21 replied to suspense's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
When a hacker gets globally banned by BattlEye his GUID gets banned, meaning he is not able to join any BattlEye server. In order to play again, he needs to purchase a new copy of OA. But It's not really profitable for the devs since the script kiddies piss many other player off - The Image of the Game can be ruined due hacking. -
It happens when you open the server control panel (e.g. shift+p).

The patch will be released when it's finished, period.

.... and then the non-locked servers will be unplayable. No thanks.

It is not neccessary to have an MD5 check since these are most likely detected after 1 day (or less) anyway. Scripting is the way the Real Virtuality Engine works. You can't just rename a script command... it's always the same one. Only the way the Anti-Cheats (In this case the Script detecion) are bypassed is different in most cases. And how can Admins implent custom checks in BF3? Sure the screenshots can be useful for some public cheat without PBSS Blocker/cleaner until it's detected, but BF3 has one of the worst PB integrations, you can't even take sshots somewhere else than the little center of the screen. btw, BattlEye raised in Battlefield 2 in many leagues like the ESL because PB just didn't do the job as well as BE. Basicly BE was founded because PB wasn't good enough.... I think both PunkBuster and BattlEye are on a similar and good level, but I must say I prefer PB for first person shooters because all the PB features - which are good for other games - don't really make sense in Arma 2. But BE for example takes wayyyyy less resources which is really important in a Game like Arma 2. We don't know how Arma 2 would look like with PB or something else unless Arma 2 had PB or something else. Let's cut it with that. -

The screenshot functionality could be easily implented, but BE is designed to have close to zero impact on performance and network load. Other reasons see my post above. You can also add you own custom checks for BE as mentoied here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?131759-New-BattlEye-features-for-server-admins <- similar to the PunkBuster CVAR Check And one thing why I prefer BattlEye in Arma: Public cheats get detected extremely fast. Maybe you've read about the BE bypass released to public yesterday? It's detected already. PB usually needs a few days or sometimes up to a week to do that job (since they also have 20 other games to support - and Battlefield 3 for example does not have many less cheaters). -

Congratulations, you just disqualified yourself from a proper discussion about Anticheats. First off, BIS will not change to VAC because Arma 2 is not a steam bound game. VAC would be the worst decision anyway, because it's doing delayed bans meaning it bans people weeks or months after the actual cheat detection. So hackers would have enough time to fuck up the servers anyway. Cheat detection itself has nothing to do of a game being PvP or PvE or whatever. Arma 2 has PvP as well as PvE Game modes, and an AC does not care about that. VAC is as well integrated in co-op games. BattlEye scans the game and the system in RAM and on HDD, mainly using generic methods that globally catch all cheats/hacks of one type (heuristic). The BE Client and the BE Server communicate with each other through the game's netcode. In addition, there is the BE Master which is queried for new core software and cheat detection updates. The BE Client (as well as the BE Server) runs within the game, which allows a better detection of Cheats. (VAC for example is using the Steam Client). The BE Server and BE Client are communicating via highly encrypted network packets enforcing quick and constant responses from all BE Clients and instantly kicking violating players (as well as Globally banning since the DayZ central server had to be dropped once). PunkBuster is designed similar but most likely used in (First-Person) Multiplayer Shooters. Having features like the PBSS function which is pretty much useless in Arma since most types of Hacks aren't using any kind of ESP or Radar Hack - and being the first thing bypassed by actual cheats - but abusing the possibilities of the engine to spawn something, drop bombs or something like that. And if there is a professional coder, doing his own stuff, there's just nothing you can do about it, no matter if you use BattlEye, VAC, PunkBuster, GameGuard, Hackshield, UAC, Xray, TZAC or all of them together, it won't become much better. BattlEye has done the job for Arma 1 and has been doing for Arma 2 before you even heard about this game. DayZ is just being flooded by new players, attracts cheaters and it just takes some time to eliminate all the upcoming hacks, public ones as well as private ones. --------------- And If you feel like you found an unknown cheat for Arma 2/ DayZ, send an e-mail to [email protected]. -

Trust me, another Anticheat wouldn't do any better. Or worse. -

It's not the most hacked game, the problem is just: 1 Hacker/Script kiddie can easily fuck up 70 players at once (70 player server e.g.). So there's 1 Hacker and 70 people are screaming: "Hurr Durr Hackz0rs are outta Control!!!1111!!" The Arma Engine just makes everything possible even though the Anti-Cheat is really good. -

nik21 replied to Grufftech's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Yeah because the games which are currently supported by it have no engine you could "hack" like the Real Virtuality of Arma 2. This engine gives us many freedom and possibilities with mods and our own scripts, but also hackers to abuse this possibilities. No matter what AC you use. People like you are the perfect of having no fucking idea what they're talking about. -
Can I run it smoothly On High/Ultra
