This is literally the vaguest question i have ever read. Do you mean how to install it and play? Do you mean what are you supposed to do in game? Are you confused by the controls? Do you mean where to go? please give us more than "i am new how do i play" and people might be able to help you better. EDIT: psst, that means post some more information on why you are confused, not ignore us.

have you tried say?...putting them on high, I've heard that kinda helps when you want a game to have high setting no? unless ofc you're saying you're getting terri-bad fps issues on medium if you are listen to Fraggle.

No you don't you NEED DayZ, you need: water, food, shelter, clothing you WANT DayZ and you ain't getting it until Dean thinks his baby is beautiful enough for people to touch it....wait, scratch that stable enough and has enough content to support the hundreds of thousands of people going to buy it on release. 1. you can'tplay dayz on LAN (or it's very hard and boring to do so) 2. you have to copy yourmaddons folder in arma2 to Operation arrowhead. 3. DayZ commander is better than the in-game one.
