    Played the Mod for a few hours today.

     

    Gearing up was a breeze but the Zombie spawning was such a pain in the ass.Drive or ride up to any town and the Zeds would spawn 10 or more in a small circle and then a insta zombie conga train on your ass.Run into a building and the Zeds would spawn in after you had entered it and the clipping/ walking through walls was the worst Iv seen.

    The constant grind of buggy super aggro Zeds made it few hours to long.

     

    Being forced to play first person was bit of a shock,but you know what,I didn't notice it after while that I was was playing  first person and I really liked it in the end.

    Unfortunately that's the only positive I give the mod is first person,but other than that.its just another death match mod,same old same old done to death already

    There are still two public servers in OZ running 1.7.6.1

    AU1 210.50.4.25:2302
    AU2 210.50.4.15:2302

     

    Public hives have died down this way.Noone or few plays any official Dayz public servers.Dont know why this isn't setting off alarm bells at head office,as the SA will be official Dayz.

    Putting DayZ in a new sparkly shinny wrapper and calling it the SA inst going to change the fact that, the official Dev teams idea of how Dayz should be played has been rejected.

     

    So the 15/20 players world wide who like public hives,join these two,then I might get someone to play with.

    Upon looking up on AMD Overdrive, it seems the general concensus is to not play with it if you don't understand manual overclocking - and like I've said, I've not got a clue.

     

    Is there a tool in Overdrive that allows me to press a button, and let it automatically test to see what safe limits I can push my CPU/GPU/RAM to?

    good lord your graphics card is a piece of poo. I'd put that money towards a GTX 760 and everything else looks good to go.

    definitely! everything else is a-okay. that GPU... ...........itll suck at minecraft at its best. go for that 760! you'll get SUPER good fps

    I have one that I use for a physx hack with an AMD card

    GT630 2gig with a FX8350 and a run through cherno...store, fire station,hospital ect

    Frames: 23387 - Time: 677262ms - Avg: 34.532 -

    No OC on cpu or gpu,so Id say it runs DayZ surprisingly well

    Oh good Ozelot, a few of my friends and I are starting a league of bandit hunters. So I guess I will KoS, if it's some asshole like you.

    Id be willing to donate unused weapons/meds to such a league if genuine.

    SVD,15 or so mags

    2 DMR + shite load of ammo

    M24

    M14 AIM

    M16A2 M203 + one nade

    M16A2 CCO

    MP5SD6+4 SD mags

    M249 SAW 2+ maybe more belts?found that today

    It would be, if you could actually hide it, because since last patch, tents are useless.

    I found this out today.

    I had tents on 5 servers that no one had ever found any of them,and all in a legit location.

    Tried to put a tent in the same spot on 1.7.7.1.Tents and toilet paper are now equal

    Are there any autherized mods that I can install to give the game.better graphics...I have everything maxed but I know a lot of games have extra packages you can dl that apply better textures and what not. Only lookingfor things that are well known and wont get me banned.
