Yeah guess so, but that location was so random that i couldn't believe there was anyone in like 2km:s or something. I must say also I have never seen chrashed heli's on flames like that (super illumination when near..,) since latest updates, but i also discovered heli's are in flames right after server restart, and after some time they are just smoking, guess it's fairly new thing.

Same thing happened to me, I'm 100% sure there was no shock when I logged out before this. I was laying on ground in forest about 10 min. before logging out. And there was no zombies chasing me or even near.

Logged in EU12, saw text "I was killed" but there was no death screen, I was alive in debug land with empty inventory. And while I was there I saw this same happend to other people who joined in.

Yes It's great experience, and it teaches people to avoid stuff.

Yeah really, just ignore them and run! And save your bullets for something more dangerous :)

I find it easy to just sprint from bulding to building and from town to forest, and mostly they just stop following you at some point when they lose LOS or so I think it works?

I noticed you actually run faster with ghillie suit so yeah superpowers are true.

Yeah drugs like in Fallout NV would be nice, you get enhanced abilities but when used too much you could get addicted, and then get negative effects if you don't get more. But there's no doctor in Chernarus for rehab :) Not sure what drugs could enhance in DayZ tho, more speed, less fatique, or something? But yeah I support any feature involving realism.
