unless there's some form of weird artificial system for safezones that kind of breaks immersion it's all always going to be hit-and-miss anyway @burlap sacks / nets both are items every player kind of wants. anyone can get a head ghillie without sacrificing space, as well as weapon ghillie. the items are rare or hard to get in large stacks, as well as being harder to farm by server hopping. they stack to 10 + 4 1 set is 14 items (4 nets 10 sacks) and is very dividable. they are the only stackable item that players want / need that does not come readily stacked (except for nets)

as a note, canned goods are far too rare to be used as currency. or they will be. current canned goods spawns = placeholders burlap sacks and nets are the best currency. (full stack trades to pretty much 1 of any item) protector cases = any item gold/minerals would have 0 value to players unless you could make a golden throne for yourself. for all intents and purposes protector cases are gold. you can litterally barter the clothes of a players back and half his junk for one sometimes.

i'd quite like to see a way to get more than one character going at once on the "public/normal" servers (IE rather than 1 for each type of game IE veteran 1p, normal 1p/3p or private servers. as an example: 1 character who i have fully kitted. done a bit of fighting, got into a few scuffles. 1 or 2 characters who are fresh spawns who i am building up i would be able to log out and change characters from a menu if i wanted to. thoughts? my thinking here is that people won't be quite as afraid of a respawn if they can come back to a pre-prepared character anyway.

sewer system and underground bases / labratorys + skill tree

right now to make something underground you have to dig a hole in the terrain and build over it, meaning that the hole is the shape of the structure. it's not designed to do stuff like that. terrain can't have "holes", it's one flowing entity. -
gaters for low shoes/hiking boots/non waterproofs and combat boots that give them waterproofing. would be a nice addition. pick a pair up and use them on your boots like an attachment.

i'd also like to see some form of climbing and maybe a way to hang. some form of wallcling like MGS auto-cover system that makes sure your clunky arma animations don't stick your face out over the wall currently there are only 2 places i know of that are LEGIT hiding places. 1) behind boxes in hospital 2) outhouses can be closed and you can get into them as if they were lockers.

right what i mean is on 3pp public hive i click join a server it gives me the choice to add a spawn or spawn with my current character, so i could go fresh without being on a private hive if i wanted. i do the same thing as you do, but i'd like the ability to have multi-vanilla characters. -

well once it's happened there's nothing you can do about it. there's no point in worrying about death, but dying is another matter. people are worrying about dying, not having died. i suppose this sort of thing would probably make KOS worse, although i really think there should be more option than an oft-lost tent to give you an edge after dying. -

when people fear dying they take a route north of berezhki and avoid players forever, people should fear death and not a firefight, and dying should be incidental. distinction between death and pre-death -
no. if you put this in there you have the ability to carry 6x water for 4 spaces or 4 water+2 bandages, which is very OP in 0.53 at least drinking was bugged enough tincture bottle filled with water would quench thirst as well as 1l bottles

i'm a real fan of the look of the new ballistic vest and pouches. i feel like there's something that's missing from how modular it is. it'd be a lot better if you could remove the plates from it to reduce weight (+future reduce protection) and also replace these plates which will become ruined rather than the entire vest, if hit. suggested additions: kevlar plate (chest) kevlar plate (side)

they don't spawn anything right now, there are three underground sections, each more elaborate than the last. i'm honestly wondering if they're actually finished yet, i suspect in the future they may add in some hidden loot spawns down there. the deepest bunker has three ladders down, probably at least 40-60m deep. the three bunkers are together and are visible from satelite images. they were added along with the novodmitrovsk "new north of the map" area. quite interested to know how many people know of their existence. anyone who doesn't can find them using the information i've provided here without me saying "go here oo"

yeah tenting down there is good because most players will fall and die before they get to the tent, not to mention that most people wouldn't even go down there, and you can put the tent out of LOS of the entrance on 2/3 of the bunkers, especially the 3 level one. -
i dont actually see the cracks. im guessing LRS and PSO-1 are currently unfinished. i wouldn't be able to use a damaged ACOG to fire nice shots but i can see the entire reticle with this damaged PSO-1. just like i can see fine through damaged/worn/any LRS

no negative effects, i have one in invent on my akm atm in that condition only some scopes have damage from condition but it seems the zoom-y ones don't.

right now the only way anyone moves is as fast as they possibly can. why not offer obvious resource/energy-conservation and a "run" walk (just a walk with larger strides) to encourage people to walk everywhere, rather than sprint. i also think ghillie suit-users should be forced into walking to keep cool (rather than the current forced into swimming malarchy)

leather clothing should be buffed to the roof, sprayable too, to encourage people to make them, and get people off staple military clothing.

there are actually about 6-7 wrecks of t90s and trucks to the NW of this base. i'd like to see a barracks or something at the bottom of these bunkers -
fyi there are already underground bunkers. three of them by my count. one goes deep
