    Locked Doors System

    I think it would be really nice if most doors would be locked, as long as you don't destroy your tools ridiculously fast when opening them. Why do people always want items to get broken after 2-5 uses? I prefer disadvantages like drawing the attention of zombies because of the loud hammering noise. Makes much more sense than breaking your axe after every third door and is still a decent disadvantage.

    As long as you can turn your head freely with the numpad or alt you will be able to look over walls, as long as the things behind are being rendered. And the possibility to turn your head is one of the key functions of arma / dayz...

    Possibilities for the endgame

    Sorry but ultimate nope, nice story telling but completely not suited for dayz. This game is about not having an end. "Endgame" is pretty vague, you could experience it after 3 minutes if you find a camp of a clan or after 3 weeks on your own. Or never. That's the point of DayZ. But do not worry, once surviving becomes harder more people will create groups to really survive, I guess... Also all survivors are already immune.

    I never understood why there had to be a dayz mod mod for this. This sounds exactly like arma 2 wasteland with all it's beauties.

    I guess why not, it makes sense, it is useful, it is realistic, it gives new possibilities and it's not too complex.

    I don't know what kind of dirt you throw but I think being blinded for up to 5 seconds and a blurry vision for 30 seconds is too much. Everybody would be fast enough to close his eyelids / turn away / react if you're not standing right in front of him and even then he would notice your movement. Maybe 1 second blind and then, if you didn't turn away 10/15 seconds blurry but nothing more.

    Gun Magazines

    No. Having the possibility to kill anybody and anything from a safe distance should need as much different parts as possible. It's too easy to take every bullet you find and then take the first gun you find and go full rambo. Maybe magazines shouldn't be that rare (ammo: uncommon / magazine : rare / weapon : extremely rare) and spawn next to a weapon with 10% but not more.

    Well actually it's quite possible that the person you've shot, shoots back due to reflexes. Here's an old topic I had about almost the same thing. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/179645-standoff-situation/ And bodies should last longer, that's right.

    I hope they remove a reload button along with the scroll menu. One of dayz's core elements is the crafting, combining and interacting system in the inventory. I think it represents real actions quite well.

    Actually pretty decent ideas, I like them all. Actually the 5th one already existed in the mod and as far as I remember even then the players discussed about keys/hot-wireing. I just hope it works with a real rear trunk to open and maybe even visible items and stuff. Good one.

    You mean door opening like in e.g. Far Cry? It would definitly look good (as long as you can cancel it by just walking) but especially for the doors I prefer the old suggestion being able to open the door a little bit via an action key + mouse dragging.

    Well it would be more easy to change clothes and stuff, especially if you take a new backpack it is really a pain in the a**. But it's a pain that has to be in the game, like loading your weapons via mouse or dragging the can opener to the can. Therefore, please no, this game has to be hard / realistic. Plus there are better solutions: Like being able to wear a raincoat over the hoodie Or pouring one backpack into the other, wasting some spaces because the items are randomly distributed.

    It would be totally useless to add that binding. In some patches you can't turbo always anyway so why?

    Ok, you're right. Bad argument. Serious arguments against it: -We would lose the stranded people feeling when we can choose the area where we spawn. -"That is the point of the game, to work to find people" -"it destroys the game immersion" -Some places would be totaly avoided. But. I can relate to your idea, but I'd prefer it if it's still random, it would be wrong if you could decide where to spawn. I think if they really want to make it possible to spawn together it should work depending on the time. If you and your mate both press respawn at the same minute you will get spawned together. This could be expanded by spawning both of you inside of a crashed car / boat or something giving a minimum of background and why you spawned together.

    Why would it be abusive if the geared player commits suicide to get back to the coast. I don't think that OP wants to spawn next to the geared player, just in the same hub as his other fresh spawned fellowers. But I still don't like the idea. Why don't you just enjoy the game throughout, play 2 hour, walk a bit, loot a bit and on the next day the same thing and after 3 days you meet up with your friends and everything is wonderful because you had some solo time and you still get your group gameplay.

    I actually don't think that they should make neither icons nor chat-notifications (which is obvious). I want to make it more like a real feeling, and how do people express their feelings since ever? Right. Colors. I think it would be possible, useful and also feeling "realistic" to show your status over different colors at the edge of your screen. They would only appear if something is bad, I mean you don't feel that you're not hungry or that your body has the perfect temperature. You only feel "anomalies". Maybe the colors could be set personally, I took them like this because if I would have to describe feelings with colors I'd say them like that. (Also obviously influenced by what they show) I arranged wetness, the temperatures, pain and bleeding left and right because they're mostly happening at your skin while hunger, thirst and sickness happen inside of your body.
