Yes, it can be done... by dragging the bullet from your storage to the weapon with your mouse, and not by pressing a key. I love the fact that this stimulates the real action you've to do and not only a animation triggered by pressing "r" Yes, in my opinion everything should be manual, I'd even like to see "minigames" for all actions like skinning an animal, reload a magazine, spray your things, etc. And with minigames I mean using your mouse, for example with a knife along the animal. And why do I want this? Because DayZ is still the only game which atleast tries to simulate an apocalypse in a realistic way, and I won't simply watch how it gets easier and easier. There are enough games going the easy way, and that's not what I want. -

Well, I would rather remove the "r" function at all and the only benefit of snaploaders should be a shorter reload time, makes sense, does it? This is your opinion, in my opinion the argument that the "r" button makes it too easy, fast and causal is very decent. -

Edit: Very first: Well, wars do bad things to people too, I still don't want to ban shooter games. -First of all, are you seriously trying to say that media influences me in a way where I do the things in reality? Wow. -Second, you mean Breivik? Well I don't think CoD was his only problem. -Third, do you want the governments to ban rape and torture from everything? Even books and films? Do you realize that stories covering these things also teach persons the bad side of it? Because a book makes you actually feel bad or scared? There isn't only the offenders view, also the victims. -Fourth, I thought that I made it clear that I think these things are bad and make me feel sick, but they still have their place in games like Dayz. Don't be so closeminded. But atleast you only insulted me in a passive way :) thanks

If it has its place anywhere, it's here. But are you worrying about how it is right now or how it might evolve? If they would ask the players if they should add rape and stuff I don't know how I would answer because I am the opinion that everything is ok in a game, I for example don't like some things (I remember the CoD mission at the airport, i felt sick, and had the urge to go on with the campagin to seek revenge). But these things still increase immersion, and if you want revenge because a stranger just impregnated you during rape, well atleast something to do...? Edit: Cannibalism and the ability to dismember other players HAVE to be added anyway, too many good points and only the one, less severe point of moral against it.

As long as the biggest backpacks are rare it doesn't matter to me. Maybe they should increase the amount of ropes and burlap sacks so I can actually use one before I get a decent small backpack. I don't hope that you will ever just destroy a vehicle, back in the mod this was something impossible to even imagine. A vehicle is so precious that you would rather track it / snipe the driver or what ever. But don't blow it up. They won't be gamebreaker, sure, there will be people hunting you with a truck full of weapons. But why not? It is just another style of playing, and if zombies are actually a threat and they can damage vehicles, you wont just run over some people because the sound of your cars alarms too much zombies to loot they corpse easily. And as you mentioned some post before I think, you don't have to worry about vehicles driving along the coast all the time if you're not playing on 40/50 man servers, because it's too risky. (That's why i prefer ~25 servers, encounters are rare and people play serious).

I didn't say server locked, i said you shouldn't be able to switch every 300 seconds. And why should you have to loot again after changing server? And do you really think that it's a personal thing that I want to stop server-hopping? That I personally don't like it? Just me?.... Meh -

Well I don't know if it's still like this, but I guess so. (It was that way, back in the mod). A german server for example had the same time as the real time in Germany. When I played on a french server it was 1 hour earlier. And it got dark at around 18:30 if I remember right. That way you could play on e.g. the french server up to 19:30 real time and still have daylight ingame. But the host hat to possibitly to set the "home-country". Therefore some servers had completely different time zones to adapt to the time the host wanted to play. Somebody who works late doesn't want always night :) And for the 15:00, I don't know where you live but as I mentioned above, just something far enough away. Maybe they don't even need a "country" to set the time anymore.

Such rage, very angry... And what IF we're on the same server? I shot enough people logging in infront of me at high spots. Why? Because I like to play this beautiful game in a serious way and how it's meant to be played? But i guess I stired up a hornets' nest with you two :/ -

Western Plains of Oklahoma stop trying to remove my choices. I'm dying here ... :D And it's your fault if you join the wrong server, 60 minutes or atleast 15 wouldn't be that hard to wait if it stops players like you ruining the experience. -

There should be no "relations" to unknown persons altough i like to have the same group of other players every time i play, too (private hives I miss you <3 ) Like you said with basebuilding (or even tents) you stick to one server anyway but you shouldn't force someone to stay on 1 server. I, for example dont like 40 man servers because there are to many player interactions at the coast. Therefore i change from time to time between my 3 favorite servers. They should just set the time to 60 minutes until you can change the server, if someone still serverhopps you can't help him anyway. -
You know that the time depends on the country where the host is? Or the country the host chose?

But it should look realistic (the corners should stay bright with the rocket sunglasses for example). And along with this they can add that you can actually see your base cap or helmet. I think it's just to unrealistic not to have any disadvantages wearing a motorcycle helemt

Magazines should always spawn empty, and never inside of a weapon or next to it. Bullets shouldn't spawn in groups of 1-7 instead of a 20 bullet box. These boxes should be availabe but very rare. And weapons should stay very rare too, because if there's a gun everywhere it tooks less time to find the right weapon for your ammunition. And jeah everything will be less anyway, right now I only need 3 bullets in my inventory, i don't need more to kill a player and who the hell shoots on zombies .... So jeah from the point when you found your first box of bullets your problems stop forever. Not okay. And I like your hopes for the food, too. I don't think that the energized status should be something extreme rare because you should find enough food in the woods, not in the cities. -

Did any of you guys just think of the possibilty to adjust your faces and character instead of just his ethnic background? Like you would recognize people normally? Because you see the face? And as far as I know they already talked about personalizing your character more. Edit: well i see it is already posted, sorry

Well I think attachments SHOULD change a thing, but not the disperion. Maybe the recoil or how much you move while aiming lying without a bipod. But what is the sense behind the CQB buttstock for example in real life? Does it make the weapon shorter? Lighter? I guess the length part would not be possible in DayZ but the weight factor? Maybe you can tell me.

If this is true (and I hope it is) it will be experimental only, and I guess you played on a stable server?

If there would be enough decent official servers they could just "ban" you for some hours after your death (would be good anyway). You could still wait the hours but if you want to play right now you would have to regear. And it's not that difficult to ask your mates to switch server with you... aslong as there are enough.
