I'm a huge fan of Arma 2 and 3, as well as the DayZ mod. I've purchased Arma 2:OA, Arma 2, and the Arma 3 Alpha on Steam. I've had relatively few errors (for such a complex game at least) until recently. The DayZ Mod recently released on steam, and for some reason I installed it even though I already had it (I guess I thought it would be less complicated if it was officially installed). That really messed up my stuff, so I uninstalled the steam version of DayZ, and got Arma to work again. Steam recently updated (About 4 days ago) and since then Arma 2 has been giving me hell. First, on server join my game stated Invalid CD Key. I bought the game on steam, and had been playing it for months, so I had no idea what to do. After researching online, all solutions led to editing my registration key on regedit, which worked. I started up the game and played. But then, after rebooting my system and attempting to login, an error stating "CD Key in Use" appeared, but I hadn't messed with any CD Key except for my own purchased Key on steam. After re-deleting and re-instating my regedit key, along with re-installing multiple beta patches, I got it working once more. But then, I got home today, and once I joined a game I got a "Global Ban #123 cbb" error. Now I have absolutely no idea what has caused any of this. I have wiped my computer clean of all Arma Content multiple times, and I swear I have done nothing worthy of misconduct, I've never modded or hacked or tinkered with a server in any way shape or form, battleye or not. I really enjoy the hardcore experience of the game, but I can't really play the game anymore. Any solution would be greatly appreciated. ~Feel free to look up any info on my Arma 2 profiles (Michael or EAGLESOUL5) or my Steam Account EAGLESOUL5
