Good man, still, its the one thing you miss that may prove fatal, I've been saved by hearing footsteps near by, though I have been known to play some clasic rock while flying a chopper

I spawned on the east coast and was shortly greeted by the sound of gun fire, I found a fellow survivor, or so I thought and helped him fend off a zombie that was attacking him, after dispatching the zombie he asked if I was friendly, I said yes, he said " cool, so am I then promptly shot me in the face, killing me and started talking shit as he looted my body. One respawn later, I found myself near where the so called " Friendly " had killed me, and saw zeds swarming to a house, I peek in, and there he is in the corner reloading, two bullets to the back of his head and he yells over direct coms that I was a moron and he was friendly, I said " oh yeah, friendly just like when you shot me in the face ", he logged out there.

I would advise against it, back on the MustyGaming Server, I ran across some one, proned out with a Mk. 48, laying in a bush watching a truck, I came up behind him, told him to drop the weapon and ID himself, he just laid there, I repeted myself twice more then hosed him after no reply, his buddy heard the gun shots and came over, ended up having to kill him too, after I saw the names, I realised I just hosed two buddies of mine, when I dropped TS channels to find out why he didn't ID himself, " oh sorry man, I was listening to Dub Step, didn't hear you ", but still it's how you want to play the game, its the risk you take.

Never said he didn't, I've just found when Gews does these types of things it borders on info overload, when I get home me and some squad mates will put this to the test.

Just gonna wait for Gews to chime in on this, he always seems to come up with the answers, he's awesome at this kinda stuff

Alright, #1, you don't know me, I've been with DayZ since the beginning, I HATE the KoS mentality, 98K humanity on the public hive before the wipe, 48K after, ask anyone from Musty about how I operate in the field, #2: the problem isn't the game its the player, there will always be people out there that buy a game for the single purpose to go and do what ever they can to make other players have a bad day, this can not be stopped. so yes, in the end, deal with it, or leave, you will not be missed or noticed, take a look at the grave yard and how many " F this game, I'm leaving " posts are there, no one cares .

As some one that has been hit by a .22 ( some one was Fing around back when I was in the boy scouts ), it does not have the power to knock any one on their ass, it can bring down a living target with the right shot placement but, if you're expecting some one to rag doll like they got hit with a shotgun at close range, yeah, you're in the wrong game.

I did back in Mod, broke my legs, knocked me out and started bleeding badly, also knocked me down to 2k blood, thankfully my buddy was close by.
