That sucks. Admin like that (and the ones who can't decide on a map or mod and switch them out after you spent a week gearing up) are why I'm renting a server. I'd love for someone to find my heli. I even keep it parked where it's pretty visible. If more people posted these things and named the server's they happen on, I believe it would occur a lot less. Who wants to play on a server like that? I think the script kiddies should!

Can you read? Have you seen the hundreds of posts on this forum by people who want vanilla DayZ servers with no added bullshit? If that were true, why are most of those servers empty? Taking away NVG's will NOT fix the empty servers. It's a simple fact that most people feel "entitled" or think everything should be fair and equal. This is why night servers are empty. You can't blame the mod for that. IMO most players need to "man up". The reason people flock to 24hr daylight servers isn't because someone may have NVG's it's because they can't see and they find it's too hard. I have a new server. Set it up vanilla and posted about it. People came on, saw they started with nothing and left. Saw it was night, and left. Never more than 2 players. I switched to 24hr daylight and a Revolver for starting loadout and added 100 vehicles. My server jumped to an average of 10-15 players per night the 1st week. Back to vanilla. empty again. Don't blame NVG's.

They are pretty hard to find now. Even in a chopper it can take an hour of flying to find one. I haven't found ANY in the places I used to find them before the patch.

I don't have a Ural so I can't stockpile as many weapons and ammo as the people who do. It's not fair. Should be removed or given to everyone. I don't have a GPS so I can't pinpoint where I am on the map like the people who do. It's not fair. Should blah, blah, blah.... I don't have a heli so I can't find the ever elusive crash sites like other people. It's not.. ohh FFS! If you want something, work for it. If NVG's were removed, people would cry about being seen when they use the flashlight, chem's or flares. "I don't play at night because visibility is seriously reduced and I keep getting killed when I light Elektro up with flares" would be the new rage in posts. This whole, "make it easy and fair for everyone" cuz "everyone's special and deserves to win" is what's killing gaming (and a lot of other things). DayZ is NOT fair, nor is life in general. Live with it or move on. If the guy next door has something that you want but you can't find one, does that mean it should be outlawed so no one can have it?

A Ural spawns in the one at Green Mountain. I've also found weapons at those buildings but it's usually just cans or Makarov mags.

You're just helping prove our point. The Debug monitor has been added back in. There's your player stats. If you have a bandit skin, you obviously killed players. That's a no brainer.

I've run into the same issue. There's a debug built in now so that may have something to do with it.

I saw the option while testing tents and server restarts but didn't click on it. No idea what it's there for. lol

They spawn on my server. Found one last night .

New server in the US (east coast) looking for inhabitants. Great place for new players to learn the game and get some friendly help. We have a few lone wolf players and no clans to worry about yet. Vanilla DayZ! Start with a bandage, painkillers and flashlight! Friendly and helpful admin. Might help you locate a specific vehicle, offer rides, offer medical assistance and they may even hook you up with a tent if you want to stay over but can't locate one yourself. Changes as of today. Due to the new Z's and changes to weapon spawns in 1.7.5.1, starting loadout now includes a Revolver. Also worth noting, the HMMWV has been spotted on the south coast and there are 3 heli's that haven't been found yet. If you're a friendly survivor, why not come by and say "Hi". If you're a bandit, maybe you can find the admin camp with the SUV. ;)

LOL Great fun tonight when you flew into Pustoshka with the heli. It's my friends 2nd day on DayZ and I think he messed hisself when he saw you. I have a better headset so I heard ya from a ways out and tried to warn him. lol. He's got a lot to learn yet. He was a little disappointed in himself to hear that I had taken a position to watch our car before you touched down. Other than vehicle spawns has anything else been modified? Loot tables perhaps? Just curious cuz it's never taken me 6 supermarkets, 4 churches and I don't know how many houses until I found an alice pack. lol.

Really? I'm pretty new to DayZ and even I'm getting tired of these threads. If you're going to complain about "server side settings" remove nametags from all servers. That gives players more advantage than 3rd person. You're just another player that wants the game set up the way that YOU think is best.. If YOU don't like 3rd person, don't play on servers that have it enabled. As far as making players adapt to the game, I suggest you take you're own advice and learn to use 3rd person so you can adapt to the game yourself.

How long will the server stay running DayZ+? I dont want to spend hours getting equipped only to lose everrything. I've noticed you guys change maps and mods quite often.

Exactly. Unless you just want to hunt other players, nvg kinda ruins the night time experience imho.

Yes! That kept my latest character alive over the weekend. Hadda do it 3 times before they found out who it was. He even tried nuking me out in the forest but it only got my atv. lol. Good times!

Seeing as how I lone wolf 90% of the time, as a fresh spawn I "dash n grab" through the nearest town with a supermarket. Once I have a knife, matches and hatchet, it's stealth all the way up north for some good personal protection.
