I've played for a LONG time, starting with the mod. 1. I have never been banned. 2. No one I know in person nor anyone I know on the forums have been banned. 3. How do you know they weren't using hacks? 3a. If they weren't cheating, good luck to your friends. -

From your description it sounds like very bad situational awareness. But people do strange things. The player may have seen you several times and figured you weren't a threat. Part of the beauty of Dayz is that you never know for sure.

I last died from an invisible player with an automatic mosin who followed me through 5 towns before he finally landed the fatal shot. How do I know he was invisible? He kept talking to me (quite clear and loud) saying he was friendly. :rolleyes:
