If they implement ANY other peripheral than kb/m you'll be able to make it work. Even if your device isn't supported, all you need is a mapping program. I'd like to use my HOTAS setup in a chopper like I do in the mod. :)

Or, try Dayz Launcher. It's pretty close to being commander but uses the same files as steam. Some servers don't show up in the search but I have yet to have a problem typing in an IP and connecting. Last time I tried commander, it made me download the mod again (steam files didn't match) and then it wouldn't show my server.

Ahhh the miles I logged in Chernarus playing the mod until the first time I found a GPS. Oh, what glory! Lasted all of about 15 minutes until i was murdered at the other end of the airfield. Good times. Good times indeed. B)

This was done in one of the mods. If you are sick and you die, you respawn as a zombie. It's a neat concept but no one likes playing as a zombie.

Welcome to the unoptimized alpha that is DayZ. Short of a few tweaks to gain a couple fps, there's not much we can do but wait.
