I hooked one up for flying and driving as well. As far as any other game play though, mouse/keyboard can't be beat.

If you can spawn in with your friend, I should be allowed to spawn into the NW airfield right? Why not? I don't like running that far so it should be incorporated into the game, right? If they add that for you, what's next? Fast travel to Starry 'cuz it's far away? Spawn with a Ural 'cuz there are 5 in your group? Free kittens? -
I made the switch not too long ago myself. 1994 to be exact. Doom 2 made me do it. That 75mhz Pentium with 8mb's ram, an 856mb HD, 14,4k modem and 2mb 3D card made me the envy of everyone.

The hero skin issue is happening on my dayz.st server. Nothing's been modified by me and the only external program running at the time was Dart. It's an intermittent bug though. It doesn't happen all the time. Two thumbs up for Z's spawning everywhere now. I can't wait until they can hear me. :beans:

I've had similar reports from people with the Hero skin, but they died before fully spawning in. It only took me 3 tries logging into my server to have it happen to me. Semi spawned in the air over debug island only to fall, break legs and die. Spawned just fine into Kamenka with no gear afterward. That Hero skin can be a curse it would seem.

Don't forget that most of those players are also the same people who scream about realism and immersion. Life itself is unfair, so is the game. BTW, skill would be finding that sniper before walking into his crosshair. -
No problems at all with as50's on my server. A kid just got one last weekend from a crash site and still has it. This thread is the 1st I've heard of this occurance.

This is probably a server issue. I haven't had any problems with new weapons on dayz.st, just the tent problems.

Honstly, your opinion is fine. Had you stated it was your opinion it may have changed some responses. Maybe even mine. But instead, you and another poster stated that "it will bring more people to night servers if nvg's are removed" which is just a dream a lot of us would like to see become reality. I love playing night time but most people I know stick to daylight servers because they can see. Simple fact. Removing nvg's will not fix that. I think we all need to accept most people's need for easy mode. It doesn't matter how many times you explain, it still say's "unfair advantage" and as you've seen from the replies, there are a lot of them in DayZ. -

This was your first post in the thread. Changing your reasoning to "it would increase players on night servers" doesn't remove your original statement. This will not be erased from memory no matter how many times you plead your case. Edit to add: If you're referring to my statements with "misunderstood" maybe you should talk to a few players who don't think this anti-game has some unfair advantages and find out why they don't play night servers. I think you'll find nvg's are not the reason. -
