Not with Dayz, but I had this issue with another program. Had to uninstall all M$ Visual C++ and redownload/install to fix the problem. Good luck! :thumbsup:

That could possibly be the first time in Dayz history where a building glitch was helpful.

Sigh... As usual, the masses want easy mode. They want to know what towns they can frolic through the streets and what towns they have to scope out before entering. They want to know exactly what spawns where and where the highest concentration of players are. They want to load in, get geared and find action ASAP. The hard core DayZ fans (you know, the reason the game got made) want pretty much NONE of the above. They want to have to watch their backs at every turn. They want to FIND things and survive with nothing. They don't care if it takes 20 minutes to crawl the length of a yard past a zombie to a house in hopes there might be something inside. Don't care if it takes playing 3 hours a day for 5 days just to make it from Balota to NWAF without dying. This patch is showing who is who. :lol: Also random loot makes total sense. This isn't the day after the outbreak. Do you think barracks are going to be loaded with weapons even just a few days after? Abandoned houses with anything useful? Some things should NOT be totally random spawns, but for the majority of them, it does make sense. I really can't wait for globally limited items. The threads that will pop up will be sooo entertaining. :D

But why? Every new thing they're developing for A3 (except the weapons) are slated as future additions to the standalone. (They even mention these things like they are DayZ exclusive, lol) I have a sneaking suspicion that when DayZ is complete, it will basically be A3 with zombies in Chernarus. Also, no using Dayz mod code in A3 per Bohemia. (Can't take away from the profits of SA donchaknow.)

If you believe that more, or better zombies will make pvp less common, you may want to take a look at the wet, i mean wonderful property i have for sale in florida.

Singleplayer? With friends? Isn't that a contradiction? And no, no single player DayZ. Evarrrr!! if you just want to play witht a few friends, chip in and rent a private server or preferrably, find one thats usually empty and play there. :thumbsup:

Unless it's been changed, your toon loads in before buildings. If you catch it right when loading into the game, you can sprint away before the house is loaded. You have to do it just before anything loads on screen.

Commander is old and broken. Try dayz launcher. Edit to add: This is also in the wrong section. Some might even say wrong forum.

Did you go back to the same server? My guess would be no. If you were on a private server and went to any other server, fresh spawn.

Shooting children, even if they're zombies, won't fly in a lot of places. That's a no brainer for ya. ;)

Turn your textures and stuff to the highest setting. It will take some strain off the cpu. Most everyone with a decent machine follows those guides and end up worse off. Make it pretty and deal with the frame drops.

Isn't there a setting to turn off the tap feature on the touchpad? I've only dealt with 2 laptops in my life (reformatting for friends) but I've had to turn that off because it was annoying me to no end. Could be a brand specific thing as both laptops were Toshiba.
