Right. Make everything super rare during the testing stage of the game. Sounds like a great plan to find bugs.

And players will come across your camp, kill you, steal your gear and destroy anything they can't carry. Almost daily. There won't be pre-existing camps on the map, but the rest will happen. Don't worry. There are a few random places like that in the woods but not with tents.

Find a random stranger. Tell him you found 2 "energy shots" and gave yourself one and it was cool as hell. Inject him with your blood and see if he dies. If he doesn't, tell him what you just did. I'll give you beans. :blush:

No. This is DayZ. If you like Epoch that much, they're making a mod for Arma 3. Disclaimer: I run an Epoch server.

I'll never condone using a herp derp xbox controller in a 1st person shooter made for pc but, have you tried using a program like xpadder? That's how we got them working right in the mod/arma 2. I used one for flying.

Nah. I shouldn't be punished because I decide to team up with a player on a different server than the one my guy is on. Edit to add: I have no problem with private servers set up this way. Just not the official game servers.

I dunno. I'm not opposed to the idea but. They all minimize and you can scroll. It's not hard or time consuming. I don't see a problem. :| -

The only thing I don't forsee the possibilty of, is shooting out of vehicles. If they do pull it off, I'll be a happy camper. -
I like it. Not sure about the "text" part though. Maybe have your character visibly shift a little would be better.

I highly doubt the price will ever be lower. It will only increase at later points in development. The same as they did with Arma 3.

I would prefer random wooded areas anywhere on the map where you can't initially see a town. Unfortunately, I'm not making the game nor do I have any influence on the decisions. We may end up with a real explanation as to why we spawn on the coast at some point though.

I always miss the good shit. :\ You can always head north, wedge something under the key, alt/tab out and do something else for a while. You'll hit land eventually or die trying! -
