I'm getting about the same fps in bigger towns and cities as in the mod, higher in the forest or open fields. It feels much smoother too. Also, they haven't done much as far as optimization yet, so hopefully it will get even better.

At first it seemed like a bit too much but after just a few hours I had it figured out. It's seems kind of easy now. I'm waiting final judgement for after loot spawning and zombies are worked out though. Then it could seem just right. ;) -
If you're hungry every 3 minutes, you're only eating until "you feel satisfied" not until you're full. You can go a pretty long time without food or water if you're "full". I imagine that's where health regeneration would kick in. Until loot repawns like it should, things like saline bags will be scarce unless you're there right after a server restart.

As my dear friend Marvin the Martian would say, "Where's the kaboom?" Yes my friends. I present you with satchel charges. If for nothing else than to allow us to help the poor, unwitting souls who get stuck in buildings to due to trap doors, secret rooms, sneaky stairs and other ghostly abominations. :thumbsup: Rocket, you're their only hope! :D Or, ya know, maybe some way to respawn in such a situation at least. Hasn't happened to me yet btw.

That's more of a learning curve I think. Accidentally proning on a roof and trying to superman off it makes for good times! :D

I dunno if it's been confirmed to work in the GAME yet but we used programs like xmapper to get full use of xbox gamepads in the mod/arma 2. It allows you to bind the gamepad to keyboard/mouse keys. xmapper isn't free but there are other programs out there that I haven't tried. If we had Heli's, I'd already know if it works, but alas...

A "good" bandit doesn't have to kill to get what he wants or needs but will do so if necessary. Killing for sport is not banditry, it's douchebaggery.

I like it. Could reduce shooting on sight as well. If your ears are ringing cuz you shot some dude you might not hear his buddy reload and walk around the corner Or those 4 z's you just aggro'd. I also agree weapons should be much louder. -

The problem with "zombies" is that you can never make everyone happy. I think they should be the last thing you want to encounter in the game. More of a threat than players in every aspect.- 76 replies

I don't think you agree. You want more on the east side of the map and even mentioned the tents not being in Berezino as an example.
