I'm confuzzled here. You can see invisible people that are crouching? Or, you see them crouching and then they're gone? Just because you don't see someone and they kill you, it doesn't mean they're invisible. It means they're well hidden.

Suggestion to get more night time play

I don't play night servers right now because of the few people who CAN see without using a flashlight. It's not an even playing field atm. -

Did he use the driver disc that came with the card? He should grab the latest catalyst drivers if so. Also, that CPU doesn't keep up very well ( I just upgraded from the 4130). If he upped the video settings due to the new card, that could be the issue as well.

Well, other than checking to see if theres a key bind to scroll the chat in the options that hasn't been set for the game, I'm out of ideas.

Haven't tried yet but if you open the direct chat window then hit the page up key, it should show again.

Free? To play, yes. Many, many people will open them up the day we're allowed to do so. There will certainly be a few no-pvp servers set up. There are even a few "trying" to run public servers as such but that just draws MORE pvpers to them. (no-pvp is not allowed on the public hive) You could try playing on lower population servers as well. People are usually friendlier as they're there for the same reason.

Welcome to DayZ! When private servers are allowed, there will certainly be a few like you mentioned. Until then, grin and bear it. It's usually easier to completely avoid everyone. I watch people for a while before I'll attempt to make contact. MOST people go by the standard of "if your not in our teamspeak/skype, you're a hostile enemy". If you stick with it, be sneaky and avoid people until you have a full grip on the controls and how the game works, I think you'll find it much easier in all aspects. :thumbsup:

You had 4 days? Lucky you. I had 2. Ya know Rocket? The guy whose idea we're all enjoying? Yeah, he's from a different country than BI is located and stuff and has been away for a LONG time. A happy, well rested dev is a productive dev imo. Plus, wasn't there a patch just a few days ago?

Can't the devs enjoy a little holiday time? They've been working on the game for over a year now. I'm sure we'll get some news in the next week or so.

Adding new skins to my Epoch server.

Either way, I'm sticking to my answer. You could PM http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/user/110591-steak-and-potatoes/ and see what he has to say. Their Epoch server is much more modified than mine was so if there IS a good way to do what you want, he'll know, or get you an answer. He's a good guy, no worries. :thumbsup: -
When this happens, does task manager show your CPU or ram maxed out or close to it? Have you verified game files through steam? Have you recently installed software? Have you tried rebooting? Make sure no other programs are running? Have you made changes to the games config?

Pretty sure that's the whole idea behind the condition of the parts of your weapon. Possibility of jamming or not firing at all. It's just not fully implemented yet. I do like your idea though. Maintaining your weapon could keep it pristine without having to find new parts.

Cool idea. Seen it mentioned for the mod before. Using it in game on the other hand? I'd avoid it. Easy target imo.
