The disapointment should be with yourself. There are 2 versions of this game. THE GAME and a mod for arma2 also called dayz. A little research would have shown that, as well as all the things you've complained about that are common knowledge about the current state of the game. Also, you HAD to see the huge disclaimer on the steam page (posted above) AND the one you have to agree to in order to play.

No. If you want to mark your team, you can all wear pink hats or something already provided in the game. There are no "magic markers" irl, there should be none in the game.

Then again, some of do it because we're 2-3x the average players age. :D

I for one, hope the "you are dead" screen never goes away. It's one of the top things dayz is known for.

As far as the guy in Elektro goes, 2 firestations. MP5SD is pretty common. Of ALL the guns in the game, why would a scripter pick an MP5? As for him showing in Elektro when he wasnt, that map isn't exact and is in fact very unreliable for certain players. Might be ping related, I dunno, never bothered me much. I've seen it keep my player showing in the same spot for 1/2 hour or more when I was traveling around the map. Also, if it WAS a hacker, he would have come back on and insta-killed you no matter where he was. Been there, done that. As for your script issues, I don't know. Towing/lift script makes Epoch way too easy IMO. Sarge can cause issues with a bunch of other add ons as well.

In a "real life style simulator" you wouldn't get another life. If you die, you shouldn't be able to run back and loot your own body. Don't die. :thumbsup:

Pro tip: Don't stand in a tree, near a rock, ledge or stairs during a restart or logging out of the game. You probably spawned in in the same spot as the tree. The tree won.

I'd like to see time survived but that's it. Definitely not player kills. If they add player kills, it will be like an achievement and as such would need some form of punishment to make it harder to accomplish. Since they don't want to punish players,I don't see it happening.

Right. This whole reporting thing isn't working out very well. If I were in charge I'd be threatening to pull the plug on the hosting companies. It shouldn't be our job to police their policies. Oh, you could do an IP search to find who the server host is.

1. That processor isn't that great for gaming. I know, I'm running an FX-8350 2. You're only using 4gb ram with 32 bit. 3. You're hard drive is slow. 4. See above post. 5. Consider overclocking. It will help a bit.

Strategically maneuvering my guy from 3 Valleys to Zeleno. Nursing him to a healthy status and finding naught but a pipe wrench along the way. Reach Zeleno in tip top shape to find it unlooted! Yay! Finally fully geared I go into the police station. The lag monster strikes me on the stairs and pulls me back down breaking my legs and killing me. Good times!

It wouldn't matter at this point. Database wipes reset everyone. My advise? Don't let anyone get a bead on you. Keep in cover or constantly moving around when making contact. :thumbsup:
