Only once. That was playing the mod. It was a time where there were a literal shit ton of z spawns. We rolled into Stary in an armed vehicle intending to take out all the z's near the grocery before looting. My buddy immediatly runs around the grocery and enters from the rear without telling me as I was plugging away at z's. He was shot in the face through the window. :D -
There's a better place on the forum to ask this but... I'll go ahead and say "maybe", leaning more towards, "if it does run, it will not be a pleasant experience."

They can't cater to everyone. I feel most people wouldn't bother to boot up Dayz knowing they only had 20 minutes to play.

Not entirely true. A lot of players became accustomed to ghosting which is the process of going to another server to gain a vantage point on a player from the 1st server, then logging back into the 1st server for the kill. Don't blame BI, blame the players for your woes.

Watch all the streams of Rocket playing the game. Read all the dev blogs and twitter posts. It's been stated numerous times that gps will find its way into the game. Very rare and will require batteries.

Since you can shoot someone and take their stuff, not being able to trade items would be pretty dumb. Just be really freakin' careful so you don't lose it all. :thumbsup:

The rules are that there are no rules. There is also no such thing as a PVE server. If it's listed that way, it's to get more targets noobs to join. Easy pickin's.

Just a note to shoot down your quick move option. Trying to make this game easier isn't gonna fly here. As much of a pain as it can be to swap goods in backpacks, it's a necessary evil in the game. Adds to the paranoia and overall feel of the game.

Aye! It also makes increases your chance to be kos because a ghillie is a snipers attire. ;) If you're looking for current Dayz vids, search for "dayz standalone" or "dayz game". "dayz" by itself is what the mod has been called until the game released.

So, you want nametags so those sneaky bandits that are 300m away from you with their line of sight blocked by trees can see where you are because your name popped up when they faced your direction? I surely don't.

I've had similar graphics issues after rejoining a server. Going into the video settings and back out fixes it most times for me. I only recall having to restart the game once due to the issue.

I'm worried that it will eventually turn into an Origins/Epoch hybrid with the number of comments Rocket has made about their "cool" stuff. I'm worried there will be too many military weapons. Zombies. (too much to say about this one so I won't) No beards. :| -

No, seriously. That's what the game is for me until the exploits are all taken care of. I don't play to play the game. I log in once in a while with the intention of trying a few things out knowing there is no point in trying to survive in the current state. tl;dr: it's not a game yet.
