You just like to follow the hype trains. Your the "hype guy" Ill explain.. 1st: You find a game thats coming out that looks REALLY good. 2nd: You buy it and play and think its amazing 3rd: You play some more and say you LOVE it and its the best game ever 4th: you start to get bored (2nd week of game release) 5th: You quit the game, you say it sucks and you cannot stand how bad it is. (second week 3rd day) 6th: You start looking for the next best game coming out and the hype train starts all over again :) But its okay I understand, you cannot stay with one game for to long. Its okay. I can not relate well but its okay.

Yeah, I can see where you are coming from, its just an idea or concept I am trying to get to people. Animations are tedious to make but should be done, also you should be able to leave the animation and not be stuck to it.

Well, basically from playing DayZ for along time now, I am starting to not like the way the weapon stances are done. For combat they are great, and everything is fine, as DayZ came from a origin of a war simulator. But when not - incombat it would be cool to be able to holister your pistol in a holsiter on your hip, and a animation for it. And for other things like a rifle, could have a sling to be able to carry on your back. I think a big thing in Dayz, is visual. When your running and you come upon someone and you stop running your gun points straight into that direction, I personally think that alarms other players which causes confusion ending up in a gun fight. And I know you can hit control to have you gun pointed down, but its not always reasonable, but can be useful at times. Now lets get this straight DayZ is a sandbox/survival not a Pvp whatever you want to call it. So, its not always needed to have your guns out. Now of course you can carry your weapon on your back which is great but this is only a idea and something to think about. Not really a suggestion but just more of my input. The suggestion itself is, more animations for holistering your gun on your side, carry rifles on a sling, and maybe pulling off your backpack and opening it, when going into your backpack to gather stuff. Please comment ideas, if you think this is dumb shit or not a terrible idea. :)

How are they making vehicles for the future of DayZ?
Bigal123 replied to Bigal123's topic in General Discussion
Okay, that would be cool though to be able to upgrade and work on cars. A cool feature would be able to shoot out through the windows, of course your aim would be decreased alot. Or harder to aim at least. -
So I was wondering on how they are deciding to make vehicles for DayZ? I know that they are redoing them all over, but I am intrested on how? Will they make the flying of a helicopter more realistic for example using your instruments and proper flight. (Almost like a simulator) Or are they making it the basic controls as in regular Arma or DayZ Mod? I know that they are trying to make things very, unique to try to get people to interact, for example one who finds a helicopter could not just know how to fly by basic controls, but by knowing how to use the instruments, and actually fly a helicopter. They are doing this for sicknesses, they are trying to make many ways for one to get sick, so a person would have to be careful what you would do, or it would force you to interact with another player who knows alot about the medical system to treat your sickness. Because using the wrong medical supplies for the wrong sickness could even be worse for you. So basically, what do they plan on doing, I am very fascinated on this and would like to find out. I know it will be months before vehicles are even really mentioned but it would be interesting to know. - Thanks

New 1:1 Mouse Controls are not good for the game
Bigal123 replied to tatchell (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
I love it. Although the realism is left out, it makes the game much more enjoyable for the time. I am hoping the vehicle system will be able to put out like this movement system. Like others said before its a base and can be worked on. Although I am fine with it, and actually have been hoping for this. This actually causes a huge increase in player interaction. People (me and others), use to wait for others to crouch to grab something then shoot them while they are in the animation, because there was a delay on their action. Now, I will have to be more careful and not just wait for them to use an animation that puts them at risk. Firefights in cities will be much more fast pace, which could have a positive or negative effect. I for one will enjoy it. We will see what it all turns out to be. Anyways goodluck lads. -
Wait, 15-20 FPS? You get that!? you get 25 FPS in a city.. Holy cow. I get like 15 on a good day anywhere, and I have a medium rig. Im happy if I get 20 stable. This game is easily playable with 25FPS. Dont complain man if your getting 25FPS, just be happy you arent getting below 15 like me. Although a nice performance boost would be nice. I have to play on all settings minimum.

Before you guys say, that other threads were made about this, I know. But I dont see anything being done to it. One of the biggest problems, for me are the slow glitchy animations. Example: Laying down, and getting up then not being able to move for 2-3 seconds. Now I understand, that ArmA before was a war simulator, in which you cannot have fluid animations like BF3, or so on. And I honestly dont mind slowness in the animations, but some are just so irritating. I know how hard it is, to fix some things, and some things just cannot be fixed without major attention to them, but their must be a quick fix just for the moment, or atleast start getting to fixing it. The developers are working on content ingame, which is great and I appreciate it, but I would rather them fix the core and stability before getting into content and creativity. Again, it is not my game, so they choose what they like which is fine, but this is just my opinion on the matter. I am fine with 6 guns, and barely much content for a while, but those animations doee.. Anyways I love this game so I am going to get back on, bye. I will post a video later on, for some examples for those not understanding, or do not have the standalone. What do you guys think?

What Is Your BIGGEST Pet Peeve In DayZ?
Bigal123 replied to leefriendfield's topic in General Discussion
When I am being shot at and I stand up and cnat move for 3 seconds, and get shot. Basically the glitchy movements. Needs to be fixed asap tbh. -
Yepp.. Sadly DayZ will always have those types of issues, but thats not why we play.
