I've survived roughly a week by opening fire on any players i'd see. When I try to be friendly I end up dying by being punched in the face getting knocked out, or shot in the back of the head when turning my back to a "friendly" player. :)

If you find rounds, you can load them into the SKS. (As if you were loading them one by one with in real life), if you find a clip, you can reload the weapon by presssing the reload button, instead of pressing tab and dragging the ammo onto the weapon.

The game is centered around interactions with others players, according to Rocket himself. Wich pretty much means, shooting and basic combat. ;)

No. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Flashpoint:_Cold_War_Crisis They changed the name to Arma Cold War Assault tho, but most still refer to the game as OFP.
