    People like 3rd person because of fov, less motion sickness and you can see your character. My suggestion is that make 3rd person view only show you zombies, items and players you would see on 1st person view. That way 3rd person players get all benefits they want without having advantage over 1st person players. Then there would be no need for separate 1st and 3rd person view servers. I cannot think a single good argument why you should be able to see corners magically when DayZ is all about realism.

    Just wait until they fix the 3rd person, the devs already confirmed looking into it but it probably takes some time.

     

    First person servers are empty :(

    Of course they are empty, same history of the mod, people complaining about first person only, but every time you see a server FP only is like 10/50 or 6/50,,, but u know, people is always complaining,,

    This topic is really annoying, every time I see this is the same, people forcing other people to play in FP or talking about the disadvantage of first person or the advantage of the 3rd person,,, most of you apparently want to play FP, go to youtube, go to twich to see some videos and streamers and let me know how many of them play in first person,, let people choose how the want to play, they/we paid the same amount of money that u paid to enjoy the game. FP only servers are coming, so you can go there and play with no "disadvantage",,, but really this need to be removed from discussion,,  :|  :(

    I just got my M4 fully geared with alot of attachements and magazines. I tested out the suppressor on a zombie and realized it was still as loud as before. My friend in a small distance said: "well that was loud." too. 

    Then I figured I could ask people on the forum to be sure.

    No sound reduction yet,, just cosmetic change :)

    I've not been able to truly test this yet, but I do believe appearances are a big part of it. If you run around in a Hoxton mask, tactical vest, military pants and a black hoodie with black gloves and a military helmet wielding an m4 you should expect to be shot at. You don't appear to have any good intentions.

     

     

    If you run around rockin' the Rocket aviators with a baseball cap, a flannel and cargo pants I believe you'll typically be received as a warmer person to approach. However, most players here don't see attire, they see cattle, and they want steak.

    Don't rely on it. I'd rather dress to go unseen than dress to be seen as a lovely guy.

    That's right, me and my friend play always trying to be friendly but we were wearing a payday mask, with helmets, and guns,, so every time that one survivor spot us, just start running away, so we decide to get rid of mask and helmets, now we are using Christmas hats and people is not running away anymore :):):)

    I don't want 24/7 daytime servers, but I haven't seen the colors on SA yet, I am playing at night but I am missing the sun already.

     

    24/7 daytime should be available for people who want it. If some people enjoy playing only daytime, let them be :)

    Dean Hall bit off more than he could chew and he knows it.... his vision was not realised because no1 working for him respected him and his foolish notions of design and developement.... He had a good run.. he got paid a lot, he is not a leader.. gratz to him for dragging it out for a year... I know i paid $30... so hatz off to the kiwi. Now please disappear.

     

    I hope however that I am entirely wrong and you dig this god awful alpha out of the deep hole it is in.... the Execs must of insisted you release this bag of crap.   #warz
