Always practice first in Arma. You can crash all you want there without any loss. In DayZ it sucks if you spend the time fixing it and you lose an opportunity.

I think a lot of people underestimate the time it takes to make a single map... Try map editing on any game and you will realize how impossible this idea is.

Hello there, Currently my group of buddies are looking for more chill adult players to play with on our home server. We are easygoing and like messing around. This is not an invitation to our clan, but an invitation to play with us and possibly become our friend. I don't like the people who advertise the instant joining of their clans. Friendship is earned, not instantly gained. Maybe if you play with us long enough and seem to be the right material you can get a tag. Anyways, our group Gaming with Variety [GwV], is looking for just more people to roll around with. We play on a clan-centric server and just need more firepower. If you enjoy good firefights and some fun Teamspeak chatter, you should consider joining. We can hook you up with gear if you seem trustworthy. We don't mind dying or losing gear, it's just all just part of the game. Prerequisites: - You must be 20+ All of our members are in college or older. - You must be able use Teamspeak - No asshats or dickheads. We are friends with our enemy clans outside the game. We always love messing around, but only as long as it's in good spirits. - Obviously no hackers/skiddies. That should go without saying. - At least some basic knowledge of the game. - You must be able to play the bandit role and enjoy the slaughter of innocents - Other than that, just know how to have a good time. Trying to get the mod? Or downloading the game? The game does take hours unless you have fast internet. Consider the large amount of data a large amount of fun once it's done.

You can already do caravans... Just have your squad grab a few vehicles and follow one-another. When mine was moving bases we had 4 cars all in a line.

No idea what you are talking about, but if you actually read the Dev blog and read Rockets comments on Twitter/Redit/TwitchTV, you will know that the zombies are being fixed. They will be server side, instead of client side as they are now. On top of that, they are much simpler in AI and in graphics. It sounds like they've already spent the time to fix that problem. Now I want them spending time on new stuff!

Ugh... I wish people on YouTube would actually read the Dev Blog. All the comments are trolls about them wasting time on clothing and not dealing with hackers/game engine stuff. It's ridiculous. The more and more time I spend on the Internet, the less faith I have in humanity.

It's crazy that people can glide around all day. I wish I could glide around and turn my head bob off in real life. *sarcasm* But yeah, like Griff says, you can see it in the options menu. I think that 3rd person allows people to cheat in combat a little too much.
