Returning to play and in the middle of the woods

run and try to find road or power line they lead to towns, if you find one that you dont know the name of log out then back in and look at the bottom right of the screen, then search for a dayz map on google to find your location -
i just run like a headless chicken till i find a gun then hold people up for their loot, thats quite a cheap tactic but its better than shooting on sight

can you buy dayz standalone from steam?

if you have friends use them as pack mules (i do) but never trust a stranger. if you cant find any one then drop useless gear, you only need 2 primaries at the most, and if you do make a camp try to find somewhere out of sight but still secure.

how about 2 25 man teams and you battle for supplies and survival -
anyone who shoots on sight is a douche but if he had a gun and lked at you then its kill or be killed sometimes, also just because they have a bandit skin doesnt mean theyll kill you, they could have killed someone to save a friend
