Strange one this, has just started to happen to me too since the latest updates. I'll see if I can find a reason and post it back here.
-
This cracked me up
-
That's true, fair point. My advice then, if there isn't a forum for spanish speakers, why not do it yourself? :D

Played this map for the first time today, it's really creepy. At one point the colours all went nuts, then faded to black, then I watched my player pass out..I thought the game had frozen... and then everything was fine again. And the sound effects...seriously take my beans :beans: whoever designed this one. The atmosphere is really perfect for that extra demented kind of fear, I like it

Played Namalsk last night. That thing where everyone loses consciousness and the screen goes weird caused about three deaths on the server for people who were in unfortunate postions when it happened. It's still realy spooky lol

Problem also with Spain is there isn't one language spoken. I have mates in London from Basque county and Catalonia who don't speak spansish as they have their own languages. Spain is a state in which there are many nationalities so I tend to refer the region as Iberia. They all speak english (my mates) from an early age in school. :)

Reading this forum sometimes you'd be forgiven for thinking that we're a bunch of spoilt, selfish, ignorant and childish bunch of cnuts. Shame you all can't get so animated about real life.

Seal clubbing: It's not big and it's not clever.

To those who look down on bandits/pvp...
philbottle replied to daspope's topic in New Player Discussion
One must always look down upon bandits. It's called having a good vantage point from which to shoot them. Play the game how you like, I suppose you're only really limited by your imagination, and your intelligence  -
In dayz, which side of the road do you drive on?
philbottle replied to daogn's topic in New Player Discussion
Irresponsible. Everyone knows that by driving you are contributing the destruction of the environment.Shame on you all, fossil fuel burning bastards. Zombies have to breathe that polluted air too, unthinking sods that you are. Apart from Mr Nasty of course, bravo sir. :D -
Watching this for the first time I also started to think about the music/soundtrack that will be used. I'd be really interested to know how you are approaching that.

Again, agree with Dallas. It's really nice to meet the team like that, it's what I like about the community, meeting the people behind the scenes who do the actual work. I've said it before and I'll say it again: keep up the good work chaps

You're a star mate and much appreciated. Cheers

Yeah, freaked me out because I was stuck inside a glitched dumpster when it appeared. They're damn hard to kill too.

Your names sounds like it should have been an English car in the 1970s. Welcome :D

Veteran or Normal, your marker should be on the map.
philbottle replied to electroban's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I still think my most enjoyable moments in DayZ are newly spawning on a beach in 1st person without a map or a weapon. My heart still races, particulalrly if it's in those twilight hours where its not quite dark and not quite light. Not knowing immediately where I am adds so much to the experience. Unfortunately we seem to live in a time where people are used to things being done for them and spit the dummy when they don't get what they want. Funny. -
They're big and they're not clever. Plus me and my flippin makarov wouldn't stand a chance.
-
I'm Wat Tyler online. You won't see it coming and I promise it'll be quick. But back to the game, watch your back mate B)

So, what with there being a zombie apocalypse and all.... it seems as if money has gone by way of the Dodo and monty's parrot, it is deceased. It's possible that clan by clan humans would start to form little communities again, for mutual aid and protection, if nothing else. Would you bring back money? If not, how would you see human survivors organisng thelseves in a back to basics, start all over again type scenario? Being of an anarchistic persuasion I aleady know what I would do. But what would you do?
-
They'd call us terrorists :( Actually, no they wouldn't, 'cos the dead don't talk
-
Love it; we're all freedom fighters in this game, and this time we got the guns :D
-
Is that in a mad max kind of way?
-
Oh the parallels to the modern world....but that was the point of zombie horror in the first place for some, a critique of modern times.
