    Daz, you don't need to be an evangelist for DayZ. If people aren't interested then they aren't interested. Don't beat yourself up about it. When the SA is released a lot of people will buy it and play it for different reasons. I feed stuff back to mates at work and while they're mildly interested they won't devote a lot of thought to it until it's released. That's normal I think. But when it is released...I'm hoping there's enough room on servers to be honest....for us masochistic bastards to finally satiate our hunger :D

    Funnily enough it was DayZ that converted me to PC gaming. KB&M took some getting used to but it's unlikely I'll get a next gen console unless there is a very very good reason to (e.g. if the next fallout is console only, I'll get a console). But I may hook up my xbox controller to see if it helps with my flying...

    In 1997 Noel Edmonds said that he'd leave the country if Labour were elected. The bastard lied to us. I almost voted that time as well. That's a facetious way (probably got the spelling wrong on that) of me saying: people are full of crap when they make silly statements like "it's taking too long so therefore I'm not going to play it" Frankly, who cares if someone really is that childish. Tell them to get over themselves maybe. I'm enjoying watching the SA steadily progress, I've never had so much access to the process before and it has opened my eyes to a lot of things. It's also great how folk are so passionate, it can't help but rub off on the guys doing the work.

    Tomorrow is Friday boys and girls. I expect Rocket is sitting on a photocopier right now with his pants around his ankles. When we discuss tomorrow's screen shot please beware the new jungle terrain surrounding a massive sink-hole. With a GTX Titan I guarentee you will be able to look all the way in, where the sun is definitely shining. I love you guys :lol:

    The mountain bike in Taviana, or is it just origins, I forget, is pretty cool doing over 100mph down the mountain. I don't generally use them though, I tend to concentrate too much on cycling and less on watching my surroundings... and end up cycling in to trouble. I do, however, cycle to work :D

    I've only ever obtained NVGs from other players, as gifts/trades/looting a dead body etc Heli crashes seem to like providing me SVD camos more than any other loot, weird.

    I think some people are itching for the standalone if only to have a chance to write some petulant comedy. On a more gratifying note, no-one picked up upon the fact that rocket uses a laptop for dayz. I thought that was frowned upon.... I'll come out of the closet, me too. Saving for a desktop but the standalone will first be experienced by a Toshiba satellite pro lolol I hope :D

    Yeah, the shenanigans at the tower...lol As to Sac, he got a lot of kills and I found the 'little boy lost in the woods' routine amusing :rolleyes: I think he shot at least one member of staff and I agree they didn't need to be there, or at least so visible..

    I thought Sacriel was impressive, Hybrid Panda was hilarious (trying to talk his way down from the stand off was brilliant). Lewis, words fail me, lol. Two lives and still died from stupidity. I switched from Matt's stream to the main one for literally 5 seconds, went back and he was dead. Some guys found weapons really quickly... Sacriel was fooled in the end by the staff and gave away his position trying to shoot them. But overall well played! It was a delayed start but I thought it was very well done. Hope to see more stuff like this!

    I heard ShoSho last week in his vid talking about a mate of a mate of a mate whose girlfriend's cousin's cousin once worked for the bloke who did the cleaning for the guy who owns the big shop opposite BI. It's flippin true lol At this point I don't care how long they take, I'm enjoying DayZ Origins at the moment and when the SA arrives it'll be a pleasant surprise. The people working on the SA deserve our respect and our patience in my humble opinion. Some posts on here remind me of my mum telling me when I was a little phil that this house is not a feckin hotel. I was a demanding little beggar. :D

    Was checking a Panthera sever yesterday. Met some nice guys from Finland. I'm late 30s age-wise and they were teenagers. Made me feel old but they were pretty cool. One of them did shoot me dead (by accident, sort of). I even continued chatting on Steam for a while after we finished. Last message was that one of them had to go to bed for school the next day. I usually play lone-wolf so it's not a common occurrence for me to meet nice guys in DayZ. Must admit I feel a bit weird playing with ppl half my age. I'm not an old man dammit, I'm younger than Giggs, but really, am I too old to be playing games?
