    Bugs since 1.7.3

    script restriction (#36 "[this] spawn BIS_Effects_AirDestruction"), This is a battleye filter issue nothing to do with the mod. http://dayz-community-banlist.googlecode.com/git/filters/ These filters should correct that issue. As a side note that issue was fixed months ago -( if your server admin was using the correct filters.

  5. ok so the combat system has a few of you worried let me try and clear it up First zeds will not put you in combat unless you attack them. Second the killed system is not in this release and we are talking about just sending global msgs to everyone when someone logs while in combat in place of killing. everything else is in you just wont be killed yet -).

    Hour glass penalty after every login

    Hello 10pounds, By any chance does this server run a private hive? We see this a lot with the Sanctuary private hives the server hosts have not added the proc logLogin and logLogout into the db. My suggestion find a real server :-) running a proper hive.

    Side channel veteran servers?

    Side chat is under discussion buy the dev team we have a few mixed feelings about it some don't see the harm in letting server admins decide others what to see a united system. But for now SIDE CHAT is a modification to the game and will be investigated as it breaks the DayZ server rules. Anyone playing on such servers are well just damaging the game experience Rocket and his team are trying to create. My advice to you stop playing on servers like this :-) why support the server admins who well just cant be bothered or admins who feel they have the right to modify content because they own the server. UK1 is running a {Private Hive} meaning they use modified code as you know modified code may appear to do as it should but can have many hidden systems running :-( Anyway we hope to have more answers on the side chat system soon.

    Admin Abuse "EU 26"

    Hello Guys, That's correct Superior you shouldn't judge. The server in question is one of mine the server did get locked the server admin was warned the server was suspended till rules got followed the game was brought back online. Here's a run tho :-) http://arma2.swec.se/game/data/5261313 Max Players playing 1 Start Time 2012-07-06 15:52 Support Contact Time 2012-07-06 16.00 Server shutdown due to no response 2012-07-06 18:25 Contact made rules explained. Start Time 2012-07-06 18:35 Max Players playing 31 In less the 3 hours this was fully dealt with. Our control panel has had work done since this and will now auto suspend if lock or password is found to be used. http://arma2.swec.se/game/data/5268758 The server was not locked and the guys within the server where not part of the same group server log confirms the server admin was killed within this time frame. Control Panel logs show the server settings hadn't changed and logs again confirmed no #lock command was giving. Server has now been running a few days with no more problems :-) As for restarts on deaths this will be looked into. Thanks for your time.

  20. Hello Guys EU 25 - Badassgamers Is my own server. All hacks that we found yesterday have now be banned and my scripts systems updated with the new info. All new info will be passed to Battleye with all server logs plus live video feeds from the hacking players :-). @capecodcaper As for the location ID: EU 25 that is the lid i was assigned. If any admin from CQF would like to discuss this they are free to pm or drop on irc anytime. There server host will be informed of this mistake and also the incorrect use of there hostname as part of the Dayz server rules. Hostname Format.     Im asking for his game server info nothing more ???????? But you are correct no login info should every be given to anyone even Dayz Admins.
  22. XamotDB, It depends if your with a hosting company they may upgrade your server for you. But if you own a dedicated server you will need to update to the latest version on your own.     Server Hosting quick FAQ

    A few Changes need to added. Player info: Minimum slot count for servers will be increased to 40. With exception for developing countries or countries where bandwidth is expensive. For those countries minimum slot count is now 30. New servername convention!: DayZ - Location ID (version/beta buildnr) [difficulty][timezone] dayzmod.com - hosted by Customtext With alternative long format (includes the city): DayZ - Location ID OptionalCity (version/beta buildnr) [difficulty][timezone] dayzmod.com - hosted by Customtext The Location SHOULD be the countrycode (international format) . US, DE, UK, SE and so forth. Version should be the current dayz version running. Beta is which build/version of ARMA2 you are running. Other special versions may be added after this (try to write in similar style to other servers). If you currently have a cityname in your server you can keep using it for a while, but we'll ask you to get a new countrycode ID and then name your server with the second format if you want to keep using citynames. As for difficulty, you should enter REGULAR, VETERAN, EXPERT or similar. If you got a custom setting you want to mention that differs from standard ,then use the following: 3DP:ON 3DP:OFF CH:ON CH:OFF RP Timezone should be valid international timezone. Customtext can be either your name or the url of your page. Ports. DayZ server requires the following ports open to UDP network traffic.
