Lowering the overall target range of zeds should help with long range agro. << this is nasty atm they can see way too far. Lowering the sight/sound distance should allow you to move around a little more. << We wont players to move around a little more then the last patch. Having a zed hitting you just because you ran into it or ran over it << magic zeds we all know this one unless there running the attack system you wont get dmg. Firing an m107 = death :-) joking firing any weapon will mean more pain comes your way. Based on the sound of the weapon most will below 120 meters. The offset to all this is the zeds will be attracted to players (* [NEW] - Zed attraction this will draw zeds to lottier closer to players over time.) so they wont go outside 250 meters from player and they will head in your direction over time so the longer you sit messing the more zeds you will have within your area of agro range 80-120 meters. This also means you get all new zeds in many place you didn't before ill let the mods testing enjoy telling there storys on this. If there not all testing SA anyway :-) On top of this to keep your fps higher(doh) we have added some new limits for zeds to try and share the load of zeds across players pc's so one pc isn't trying to control 80+ zeds. Current limit is 40 zeds (local). 40 zeds + 10 for each player within 500 meters (Global) and max global of 500 zeds(World) this should help alot with fps issues. So no more then 40 zeds per pc. no more then 500 zeds on the server. -

No the hearing remains. Shoot a weapon and anything within range will agro you most weapons fall below the 120 meters only a few go above it. IE m107 500+ meters -

Combat Timer in 1.7.5, Worse now than ever before.

I wish ppl would get this correct combat timer and logout timers are two different systems we have been over this so many times now. Combat Timer -> Doing any action ingame. Logout Timer -> Trying to logout within 6 meters of another player. Logout Timer -> Trying to logout within 35 meters of a zed. The logout timer is broke the timer is 90 secs not 30 this is a bug. -
being private has nothing to do with it the top on tracker are all using the new spawn script. All report no issues in fact most report don't ever set the time to 1.

Zombies do a random amount of damage to vehicles max possible valve 0.08 damage per zed 10 shots give or take to smash any glass. Zombies do not only hit windows on every hit its only a chance they hit glass. Crash sites - We have had no reports of any crash site issues from any of the top 10 servers running DayZ nor have we had any issues from our own servers. Zombies hitting players has always been random and will remain random. There is always a chance they can strike you down. Granted the magic hit they do isn't the best but again this has always been here if your within 3 meters of the zed no matter what the zed is doing you get hit. (See Patch notes). Private hives are welcome to run DayZ. We have always worked with the private hive community's until recently where Ayan (Bliss) stepped down to work on his own mod. The only other major privates hives we know about is reality (New Based on bliss) and vilayer (Company version). The issue with loot is being looked into. Thanks

This has been brought up so many times within the last 37 pages its a bug with the timer the timer is 90 secs not the displayed 30 secs. Its a bug we know about and a bug that's been fixed. Zeds within 35 meters trigger a 30 sec timer. Players within 6 meters triggers a 30 sec timer. Shooting weapons, doing any action, being aggroed by zeds puts you into a combat state 30 sec timer.

Just to keep you updated. @elfishov The main reason why your seeing this more now is due to the amount of zeds chasing now. The behavior of the AI has never changed they have always hit players when your within 3 meters of the zed no matter what they are doing or even looking at. They have always stood back away from vehicles, They have always glitched through walls. They have always attacked through walls. They have always run through objects. The amount of zeds now chasing is the biggest reason you see this more now.

Ok the nerf wont have too much of an effect it will only give small amount of time to gather your thoughts. The zeds hearing will remain the same the aggro distance has been moved to around 80 meters we are still trying to find a nice number here down from 200 meters and view range down to 120 meters from 200. The 2 min timer isn't going to have that much of an effect. This timer only kicks in once the zeds within 400 meters falls below 40-50 (this is run per client) once this happens the timer fires. Two mins later the building system runs spawning in new zeds. The important thing to remember two players standing next to each other can have two very different counts while one player can have 38 zeds and be 10 secs left on the timer the other could have 52 with no timer. (90 zeds within the area of the players with 10 secs of breathing room before the new spawn) Where trying to make it so you can do that one shot have more then enough trouble to make you fall back a little but not be hammered to a massive degree. Also where trying to make it so the longer you sit firing the more pain comes your way. Remember we fixed the hearing so the zeds should never be as easy as before this patch. Sorry i cant always keep up with the amount of posts here :-(

Change your server the server admin hasn't updated the be filters. This is a manual job by all server admins nothing we can help with. http://code.google.com/p/dayz-community-banlist/source/browse/filters/

Downgrade beta patch. The white line we are aware off This might be down to the server not having the correct mission file. This was intended the Epeen monitor was not meant to stay active.

Tens saving is an issue with other private files there's been no official server reports of this. Backpacks didnt get changed you where told this the weapon slot means nothing yet. Only change was size and new packs So AI behavior, epeen monitor Key issue. bike isnt a bug but added anyway would be a bug if it was added and not working :-)
