    Keep reading the patch notes. * [NEW] - Servers date has been locked to give full moon nights. Weather still effects the light but it will no longer be black. Not sure how we would stop them ? we already had one war when we added the ak47 gold to the ban list.

    For now you need to open the gear menu and remove the arrows from the quiver. The quiver is just used to save space. You can hold 1 quiver in your main inventory but as many as you need in your backpack. Each quiver will hold 6 arrows and take 2 itemslots The old system we was using had to be pulled while we find a way around the gear menu popup every time you fire.

Server admins choice as it has always been. we just made it default it only changes the night time light nothing else. As you pointed out no one plays nights due to how dark it is. its a decision on our part to boost some of the night time play. Its not perfect but we have to think of why ppl are not playing at night. * [NEW] - New starting gear added. ("Makarov","8Rnd_9x18_Makarov","8Rnd_9x18_Makarov","ItemBandage","ItemPainkiller","HandRoadFlare"). Lets see how it plays out. The last time we reset zeds we had so many ppl complain about how hard it was to start after death.     We know. We are aware what Dean said about infected but there has been no real info about the infection at this point. Most solider class zeds are harder to kill. In the version your playing now.

    Our next stage is trying to do a little more for older players by moving the loot around and create new zones on well traveled paths. To change how players move around the map.

    soon as we know so will you. The start gear is there to help fresh spawns get a start in the game with the zeds hearing returning back to old skool systems we felt players needed something to get started not to mention the trade for the backpack. But let me know soon as one of you kills another player using a pistol during the test it took a good amount of shots to kill any player. But only one to kill a zed if your a dam good shot. Time will tell.

    Its being worked on. * [NEW] - 3 New decayed Zeds - harder to kill (WIP), Hit harder * [uPDATED] - Reset action alert of zeds, Zeds hearing from actions is now reset back to 1.7.5.1 - M107_DZ Zed pull range 450 meters (Max sight/hearing from movement forced to 80 meters) * [uPDATED] - Zeds overall dmg has been updated per hit/per zed (Old Type: Max possible dmg = body 600, Legs 100, Hands 50, Head 1200 New Type: Body 1200, Head 2400) * [uPDATED] - Zeds sight and sound chance has been re-added so there is a chance they can ignore you. * [uPDATED] - Sight and sound rebalanced to make them a little more even from movement. * [uPDATED] - Add crawl animation damage. Players will now take dmg from crawling zeds. Alot of the changes we are pushing now focus on bringing the game back to the harder state it was over a year ago.

    Remove Starter Flashlight; Bring Back Flares

    And this is why you should leave github stuff to github. There is no guarantee the weapon will stay. The new zeds now take twice the damage(not hs) and hit twice as hard with no other downfall and with the backpack being removed from fresh spawns we felt it was a trade off to give something back. But we are not 100% sure yet this is one of the reasons it hasn't been added to the change log.

    DayZ Mod 1.7.6.1 Hotfix

    We have no plans just now to unblock all items. If you wish to play DayZ with everything open install rmod or one of the other 600 mods of DayZ. Your more then welcome to create your own mod based on DayZ anytime you like. Thanks
