    If your going to have them swarm you there inst alot we can do You attracted them its up to you to deal with. Its a clear 1% chance on every hit nothing else comes into play at all during the test run.

    Infection is no different. Sepsis during a hit is the only difference. During testing Sepsis is just a plan 1% chance. Once final is out the zeds must make you bleed 10% chance and then the 1% chance for sepsis comes into play during an attack.

    Infection from zed hits is not new. Its always been part of dayz.   7. It was submitted but we never got any response so we kept building. We now have a new system in place it should allow more direct access to Dean to pass change logs and get stuff out faster. Expected due date is the 14th the final change log will be sent to dean/community on the 9th.

  9. Infection update. We are currently working on this as a brand new mechanic. I will try and explain what we are trying to achieve. As we all know infection is proving to be a hot topic for everyone so we are going to try and change it up a little without changing anything else around the game so loot will remain the same and so will zeds. The only difference is how the infection from being attacked by zeds will work. So you’re attacked. Once this happens we start a new delayed reaction for the infection to take effect. During this time players can rest or pour alcohol onto the wound to try sterilizing the wound before infection gets time to do anything. During the delayed reaction time, you will have the very max of 1 hour to reduce the chance of being infected by finding something to serialize yourself with or keeping well fed, hydrated, rested and warm. This is still WIP and may change i'm just giving you some feedback based on info we have got back from players.

    1.7.* Infection WIP Update

    We have some progress which goes into testing later today. Some basic info. hitinfected is the name we are calling it but if you can think of something better plz shout. While your character is bleeding, if you are hit by a zombie, there is a chance you will become hitinfected. the hitinfected state works like this: Stage 1: The first 15 minutes You cannot pass the infection to others You do not take blood damage You have a warning blood icon to show infection Stage 2: 15 minutes - 22.5 minutes You cannot pass the infection on You lose 1 blood per second You have the normal blood loss icon Stage 3: 22.5 minutes to 30 minutes You cannot pass the infection to others You lose 2 blood per second Normal blood loss icon After 30 minutes you become fully infected, can transmit the infection to others, you lose 3 blood per second and your screen will shake. During the first 30 mins you can apply a antiseptic wipe/cream to cure the hitinfected state, or you can use a herb bandage to both cure the hitinfection and stop bleeding from the initial hit. You get basically 30 mins to clean before you become infected and need antibiotics. If you logout in that time while hitinfected then you will log back in infected. No tools are required to make any cure everything is found from the land. Antibiotics can only be found in three location's Hospital/Medical tents/Infected Camps. Our main concern are the timers just now. But lets see how the testers find it.

    For now like everything else you kneel down and so on. However this is just temp we have a new system coming in to replace pretty much all systems that would require an animation where we just use kneel down. I'm not going to give you any more info about that just now but we hope to have them in in the next few versions or at least start getting them added.

    Not just yet we hope to have the change-log with rocket within the next few dayz for 1.7.8 we are pretty much waiting on crafting recipes and models. While we are waiting i'm redoing a few of the weapon configs to remove SD mags from non SD weapons and none SD mags from SD weapons. We are also redoing the hole loot system to make the loot a little more random so seeing a empty tin-can in a pile does not mean the hole pile is trash and you will no longer see two items of the same type within each loot pile. So no more 2 sets of flares, 2 chem-lights, 2 cokes and so on. Also finishing up fishing and silly stuff like players switching seats while in a helicopter (back seat, gunner, pilot).

    Not sure where you have been over the past year but as we have said 5 million times now WE DO NOT CONTROL THE RELEASE. Check other topics and may learn the reason. Start with the rolling change log.
  16. We would still like to give the spawn system a try see how well it plays out in a full game with the limits. Admins will be able to control turning the system on or off at any time.
  17. You can. Action menu and number keys will have animation. Opening gear menu and hitting the swap button has no animation.

    Next release no. Soon after yes you learn a percent of info from there journal if you can collect it. just to point out there will be a big difference in what you can learn based on if you killed the player or knocked him out and stole it.

    We list all recipes your could possible make based on your inventory. You then have to add the items to your bench and hit craft and hope you get a match. This will be how it is in the next release. However the overall plan is to save your list of creations to the hive to be used within the journal. if your journal is lost you lose all creations. If you die you lose all creations. Few more details behind it but yea that is the basic's

    Just an update. We had contact from Dean today in regards to the mods development. We have now decide to cut out any middle men, all contact about the mod's changes will now go direct to Dean this should give us a clear communication line. As for the current state we are currently finishing changes to the current build, once done i'll send the changelog direct to Dean for approval.

    Hive error: Unknown internal error

    Looking at the location it is correct [252,[4530.52,10785.1]](Based on what we have, NWAF Inside Top Hanger) Your plane was last updated 16/08/2013 @ 9:32AM. My guess just now is that the plan is being caught in the collision check system and being spawned out in debug. Ill see if i can change the location of the AN2 within the DB until we can roll a fix to remove the collision check system. I wont have time to do this till Monday due to work.
