    Guys there is no point spamming threads for info i work two jobs i just wont see them. I've just got up from working last night and found Matt is already dealing with everything it will be soon.
  11. So where going over the quick swap from main weapon to melee and well need some help from your guys. Currently we have two systems in place. 1st, as you swap from main to melee and back you go into an animation putting the weapon on your back and then taking out the melee weapon but during this time your char can not move total of about 4 secs maybe a little less. 2nd, as you swap from main to melee and back its instant your char does not stop and no animations are run providing a true quick switch. Now we are a little stuck on what way to provide and are asking for your help. The 1st means you can not move while swapping weapons the 2nd means you can shoot someone and then change to melee. Whats your thoughts ? If you can give us another option plz do :-)

    Yea we are working on that for the next patch in fact we have already started working for the next patch. As crafting comes into play you should start seeing the food balance out. But as it stands with the zeds kicking shit out of players that food helps so much :-). As we start to balance loot around the new crafting system and to phase out alot of the military weapons for more home made system as well as balance the new loot system (if you had not noticed we no longer spawn 2 items the same in piles and the piles are more random) everything should start to level out. Its just going to take abit of time to get balance issue nailed.

    Doh yes that is correct i did post that. Those dates are testing dates the 14th would have been perfect if all testing was good but as always the testers found some new issues. That was my mistake.

    From what the testers have reported they should all be fixed. The two issues we know about is the FPS on low end systems and the action menu sometimes need the player to zoom in on the object. Based on reports from testers

    What bugs would they be? just looking over all the forums from testers and i don't see your name once did the team miss a post explaining the bugs or are we still talking the sneak stuff you have been talking about the past 5 pages? Might just be quicker to say the version you tested.

    We don't control the release never have. The files are sat waiting :-(, even the update post is done and waiting we just don't have permission to release nor do we have access to steam or anything like that. Its only like 3pm here last i looked a day had 24 hours in it. Plus we never once released a date outside of the 16th here on the forums.

    We are talking the numbers behind the system. if you did a full out compare you would see alot of changes but the numbers needed to trigger where pretty good and still are. There has never been a reason to update these settings they work well based on arma2's poor systems. The fact is the zeds have no new features at all. Infection isn't new never has been. Theirs a new type of zed but outside of this the zeds are pretty much the same they work based on the limits we have under the license's we have to follow. The way they move was totally redone but again we are fully limited by the engine limits there's just some stuff we can not correct. As i said above if you send videos of the issues we can look into them but as it stands i don't see a lot of the issues you have reported. In fact the hitting tho wall one i haven't seen in a long time but then again i don't have zeds follow me into buildings and if i do i deal with the pretty fast.
