I'm sorry no wild zeds are not back yet. 1: Yea this is something the community could have fixed pretty easy but it seems dayz just turned into a money printing machine. Once this happened everything just went out of the window. How hard was it to rename private hives or to create a new mod not using the Dayz name. (Just to make it all simple) 2: Now don't get me wrong but i prefer private servers over the official. The idea for the official was great when the rules got enforced but that is something well out of our control now. We know admins currently running on the official that modify content. Other servers that re-spawn damage vehicles as soon as they blow up the list goes on. So yes the official was a good idea at the start but now its more trouble then its worth.

Hes talking about the BAF that spawns at Green Mountain. It was removed for a while due to its location spawning 50 foot in the air. That was one of Deans builds :-)

I wish we could. I think when you give another player the blood transfusion i may add a random system to give a choice ie Start transfusion > Random chance of bad bag > player Notices an issue with bag do you proceed > yes/no > yes > Player receiving the bad bag has new medical issues come up > no > bag is dropped player does not get blood but carrys on as normal. Give or take. But i see other issues coming up with this. More players would be worried about bad players giving the wrong blood and all that.

You don't need matches Dayz has oil barrels all over that can be lit without matches. To harvest any wood you have always had to be within a forest this has never changed and never will. You can not just walk upto any tree or group of trees you must be in a forest. Self blood bags = Player created blood bags not that you can blood bag yourself. You still need two players to draw and give blood in this fashion. The only difference is the bags must be created and are no longer found in hospitals. (that's the plan anyway) Blood types will also be added. So giving the wrong blood type to the wrong players would end badly.

This has been an ongoing problem within DayZMod for sometime. As for origins to be allowed to use your stuff at least you got asked we didn't get asked when they created the mod :-(. You might be able to contact Josh and Six and have the offending mods removed from both programs. As i say this has become a massive issue with the DayZMod community and i really have no info to help you out.

There's no real answer it all depends what your doing and what your eating. It's not like we have real life data from a zombie attack to base the effects on. All we have is real world data on the effects of food.

A massive percent of server hosts use a 3rd party system called reality to host Dayz. Reality is no longer under active development and is classed as no longer working for any build from 1.8 and on. This is one of the problems with tents not saving outside of other custom stuff.

Here we go again the 'immersion' argument. Because it don't break immersion when a can of soda fills you up or carrying an engine around in your bag or well yea you get the point. As it stands i'm not sure what your thinking for a nutrition system but for now all our systems are based on calories. For stage 1 there is no major effects out side of going thirsty and hungry and losing the normal 10 blood per sec (that has always been ingame). a can of soda will have a calorie count that gives us a calculation for the amount of thirst it will refill. Water is 0 calorie's and is bigger so it fills you up. Same idea for food. 2/3 steaks (a cow holds 8 steaks) pretty much gets you full. Draining them due to work will be a very small number for example food and water drains 1 per sec no matter what you do currently but Chopping down wood adds an extra -10 for thirst and -10 for hunger. So for that 1 tick (second) you lose 11 in place of the normal 1. If i remember correct it takes 48 hours for food to go from full to empty and 24 hours for water. The only time you will really notice is trying to eat small tins of food/drink they just wont fill you as much until combined with other items.(Cooking). There really isn't much more to the system for stage 1. Anyway just as an example.

Pretty much as well as working(running,chopping,cycling) will lower your water/food more We have also done some fixing to the temperature system not sure just yet the impact on this but time will tell.

We already have a splint model done we just need to find the time to get it added and coded. The nutrition system to bring food and water into the mix more is currently being worked on. Soon as someone finds the time they will be added :-)

IE recreate the configs for the snipers with the changes you feel better match the weapons then drop it on github. this would be a much quicker way for us to get it added into the next build and for you to get the realism you require :-)
