The best way is to look at the mission file when you join a server if you end up downloading something massive. The server has been edited. Only real way is to find a community who still runs stock dayz files.

k cool, my main concerns right now New spawns have a really hard time to get started. Moving attack is problematic Hicks is working on a way for us to get a new moving attack animation for the zombies. (fingers crossed). The moveto command wont allow locations to be placed below 3 meters to any entity So zeds cant move closer then 3 meters to any player. (hence the attack is at a distance)3.4 meters just under the melee hitting range. Zombie's initial move & hit is devastating. (Cant think right how to improve on this without making the zombies way too easy or way too hard)

[Fixed] - issue with some wells not allowing you to drink from your hands.(drink action menu will remain active all the time) Looking for a better way while keeping performance.

Nothing has released yet just ppl looking over the cdn and they found the files. Both are for server admins. Hive patch is the server.rar one

New vehicles have already been setup on the hive. Servers running 1.8.0.3 may have errors during launch.

K looks like there has been an issue with the push to steam i'm not 100% sure whats happened yet i'm just getting feedback from Matt. The release wont happen until tomorrow on steam.

Musty's server has been updated and is ready for connections. File info has been sent to Matt. He will update steam and i've had to contact Josh i'm getting an error sending the files to DayZCommander,

Good news. We have a go for today im currently at work but i will try to get everything done remote. I have also started doing the base system for the next update. Our testers should start to see that pretty soon.

So its now Tuesday and im back at work and still no info on a date to release. Hicks has been contacted waiting on a reply.

The list is pretty big everything can be changed at the admins whim. So how do we say what is official and what isn't and how do we police it

What is official? One or two of the ones you have listed run custom content (modified mission content). I don't mean this to sound like i disagree i am just asking at what point do we draw the line at official. This is the same reason we have never been allowed to add new missions because of the amount of hassle we would get from other teams who did missions we didn't choice to use.

Just checking in testing is going well finding one or two issues with 1.63 but nothing game breaking yet. I've sent the changelog to Hicks pretty much just waiting on his word on changes. We might get this puppy out during this weekend if all goes well. :-)
