Just a FYI, this prob is still around, a fix for it would be helpful!

having the same prob as you, not sure how to fix it yet i have been browsing forums all week trying to find out how

ok tryed that and still nothing,. always freezes on the load screen or the server lobby, i played a normal arma2OA match online for a few hours, so the game itself works, dayz just wanting to be a pain i guess,. the loading screen just after the lobby, the one with the big dayz on it with the little bar at the bottom that needes to fill, it fills to about half then freezes, i let it sit for over a hour once just to see if it fixes itself, but no dice,

i have tryed making a new profile and that doesnt fix it, iam in the same boat as the OP here, please anyone help us, dont let the zombies win!
