i like your thinking sir! Sipping some whiskey by the fire with my fellow survivors, sounds like bliss! Purely medicinal of course. You know, dealing with the stress, actually on that note there is another substance that would allow survivors to deal with the stress, will gardening be a feature? :P

looks sweet :) are we going to get any more ideas of the roadmap in the coming months, ( dates preff) i understand it wont be done until its done and i am happy to wait, but would love a rough ETA.

not really, but your clan name sucks balls. That's pretty much the only qualm i have with you good sir. I play in a similar way, but generally less of a dick than the guy in the vid.

so are they going down the war z/minecraft route? If so i think rocket and the rest of the team have to be careful about this. It could lead to a little backlash considering the amount of people hacked off about it re the war z. I think minecraft was a very unique game and following suit may not be the best idea. I personally am much happier to invest in dayz than the war z considering i played the dayz mod and i know it has a good solid grounding. But i still feel somewhat jipped about having to pay for an alpha. But i WILL support it if it goes that way because i respect what he (rocket) has done so far. But i dont know how many people who havent played the dayz mod will buy into the alpha. I was under the impression that rocket now had funding behind him/ a proper team. I wouldnt have thought there would be a need to a pay alpha. :(

Its a hard world ;) I know the feeling i played for the first time in months last night ( i had a ak cobra, 5 mags, coyote backpack, full of morphine, blood bags, meat, etc etc, Night vision, compass, map, m9 etc.) And i got shot in the head by a bloke with a makarov who snuck up behind me. I have pretty much given up trying to get along with people i dont know! but i find that the most realistic thing about the game. in a real apocalypse would you trust the random person you ran into not to bash your skull in to take all you hard earned loot? The best way is to sneak up on a player, type in local chat and say you are about and if he is friendly ( this is of course if you want to team up.) Tell him to lower his gun and you will do the same. The problem is that still backfires on you i partied up with a guy, ran about with him for about 2-3 hours, ended up adding him on skype and chatting. Then he got bored and emptied a whole clip into my face. Its a risk you take. There is no right way to do it. Unless im with IRL mates, i tend to stay in the shadows. I occasionally like to do the robin hood thing, See a poor newbie being hunted by ghillied bandits. Snipe the pursuers from a KM away ;)

i have had this too. i gave up trying to see any kind of solution to it long ago. I am doomed to be a bandit forever ;)

I would love this to be a feature. Seasonal Weather. So as well as being ordered by timezone you could have season too. would really add to the survival aspect of it. Shorter days, colder, harder to keep your body temp up, frozen over lakes & rivers would require you to melt the top ice to get at the water. Makes relatively safe islands become open to zombie attacks ( sea freezes over and zombies can walk over.) would be epic. ICE FISHING!!!! :P.
