    As you may noticed http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/103211-pending-update-build-173-community-edition/, next update of DayZ: Namalsk, which has managed to get on to version 0.60 over past few days, will be made compatible with DayZ 1.7.3 => no release for 1.7.2.6.

    1) Will take a look once again the coordinates it does have, but afaik, I was not having this issue after I experimented with the heliport object and the heli position. 2) You can repair this helicopter, it was tested, it is working just like other dayz helicopter. 3) same like 2), Please try to aim on the main rotor parts, I was having problems with finding the proper spot too and then all possible options appeared. 4) Could you please describe me, how do you do that? :D Because tunnel in tunnel was created just because of this - had to extend geometry lod around this tunnel (to prevent damage to the player) and that means you can see with your 3rd camera much more :) (camera is blocked by the geometry) 5) Swimming bug will be fixed in the coming update.     Thanks, I am having strange problems with chemlights (not sure if flares too, but prob yes) as they are falling through the objects but only on the client, where these were created, on other clients, watching the chemlight, it stays where it should. I will investigate this problem. Already thinking about the possible solutions. Check this topic, on few pages before, I have described, how to make manual links on arma 2 oa exe file, that way, you can get working Namalsk Crisis (you just need to remove from @dayz the parameters). 1) Yes, altought it uses the isinbuilding function, which is currently a bit broken (not completely, but partially). 2) I am not sure, but yes, it can be possible, that they fall, lots of things is a bit weird there. Will investigate it. 3) Yes, but keep in mind, that some servers do have helicrashes enabled, which means that thermal scope L85 may spawn. I am sure that helicrashes will disappear once the next update is live. Will take a look on this, but please keep in mind, that most of the issues with the objects will be fixed once there is enough issues to fix (lots of MBs to download). (responding to the overall hunger topic) Once I start altering vision, everyone would just stop using postprocess and the only thing which would left to control would be color corrections :/ Not sure about other ways of altering vision than adding some post process effects. But yeah, I guess I could try to make the gap between need for food a bit longer plus adding some new effects when you get really hungry - weak character (unable to run for long time, shivering, poor vision is also nice idea, although as I said ↑, people would just ignore it) and slow down the blood loss (not entirely removing it, but just make it slower..). Could you please post exact locations, so I can get those issues into the pipeline to be fixed? Thanks!

    Thanks you guys for the feedback, I am going through it and I am still alive, but very busy! As I am preparing a new build :P (current version is to be 0.58) What you can expect: Some little balancing and script fixes Loot changes, additions and fixes (I will give you more info asap) Zombies in the places you would not expect Some minor island fixes Care packages - behaviour like helicrashes but bringing some medical supplies, not much, but you could possibly have more chance to loot antibiotics from it Please take in mind, that last week most of servers had random helicrash event still on because of the wrong used server pbo, this will be fixed! (I do not want to have DayZ helicrashes on Namalsk, I myself done even deeper changes to the static helicrash namalsk loot sites, but for the safety reasons, I 'killed' the original helicrash loot :P ) Back to work :thumbsup: And here some beans for ya :beans: ps: I am already thinking what could be done in the longer timeframe.. improving the weather engine, bringing the snowfall and the snowfall factor into temperature script (sorry, I just couldn't resist, we've got first snow today!) Distributing frozen food (you have to take it to the fireplace to eat it) Repairing broken equipment, making 1 functional from 2-3 broken ones .. .

    * part 2 * Well try play Namalsk Crisis campaign, there is quite deal about it :D But in DayZ, I haven't got any reasonable idea for this place.. maybe later :) Yeah, they can, it just depends on the loot tables, which you add to which object. So yeah, there is awesome weapon hidden there, with low drop chance though :thumbsup: Oh did you saw some red eyes? :D Interesting.. Well I am not really sure, try to get working the Chernarus server first and then try to morph it into the Namalsk one, ... or just use Bliss package ;) Thanks, I will take a look on these to find out what is happening! There is no legal way of doing this - at least, not yet :P Did you find weapon or just bullets? :lol:

About heatpacks, yeah, looks like the change I made to them was too "devastiting", will be changed to the better value. Well, and for the cheaters, lets hope it will calm down a bit.. Vehicles are a part of DayZ: Namalsk (including special types of helicopters), more on http://www.nightstalkers.cz/en_index_dn.php?menu=en_dn_server or DayZDB map should also have vehicle positions soon. Temperature is achieved by changing the script, the reason for you swimming in the ground is that the spawn point, where DayZ is placing players upon logon / death is in the sea (on chernarus, there is random terrain, so you are staying on the ground). #1 caused by ↑ .. not sure about the solution yet #2 Thats bug from Arma II, because some surfaces on the objects does not have defined sound, it should use the default, but instead it use the last one.. for you it is sea. #3 This could be a problem :( again related to the #1 Thanks! This is in the pipeline :P Yes they should be able to protect you almost fully, but of you think they are not, please, can you describe in which situation you were? Probably unlucky :D @DayZ_Namalsk @namalsk @nc I've talked with Josh, it will most likely gets joined into @nc sometimes in the future, he will also take a look on the server filtering.

    nvm There are also some things starting to appear in my bug & feature & fix list. One of the things we've been talking for example is adding random supply drop (something like helicrashes), but with the lower amount of medical supplies, (..another way to get antibiotics), because they are currently on Namalsk pretty rare.. well, they are rare in the whole DayZ, but just they weren't really needed. Also, I am trying to setup a public git for DayZ: Namalsk, so everyone would see the changes and also it will be another way to download needed mod files for setting up server using bliss server pack. I will post more info once this is running.

    * part 2 * There are 4 on Namalsk, be sure you find them all! :) + other interesting things are hidden :P Thanks, yeah, exactly what I wanted :thumbsup: Yeah, scripts kiddies, met some too :| Warm clothes are working if the server does have a correct mission and correct server pbo files. Broken things are for now just broken :P Wearing warm clothing gives you a very nice + factor on the temperature, for the wearing time, it is not 100% and you may get your temperature lowered in more unique situations, but overall you are pretty safe in it. Broken GPS and NGVs (plus broken radios) cannot be repaired (at least, not yeat). Was it crash site of UH or Mi-8? Because if UH, it shouldn't happen on Namalsk server.. but can be possible with the different server setup. Crowbar is somehow buggy (dayz bug afaik).. I was in some situations and find out that players aren't really much friendly.. but it does not surprises me really :D Thats just our DayZ, maybe I need to give them more reasons to consider shooting someone.. we will see :lol:

    * first part of response * Zombies.. well, I have problems with them, I guess, I will need to take a look on their fsm (I guess) for their roaming, because Namalsk do have a lot more denser spots than Chernarus for example, they just select some place and walk away, sometimes, you can see them relatively far from "their" object. Well, you were probably lucky, but there will be probably mass move of Chernarus like objects (still default dayz loot tables) to my Namalsk loot tables, so expect that this you definitely notice! I think due to overall setting of Namalsk, it is not like Chernarus, Namalsk does have a lot of military installations from the Cold War, so you can expect you will find weapons. Anyway, I have plans to mess with the loot a bit. I will give more details later. I love the cold factor too and I actually have more plans with it :) You haven't started your arma II: combined operations with @NC folder, please check this post (http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/101981-dayz-namalsk/page__st__60#entry960420) for more info about it. I think, I had it too, but somehow it was not important I think? Have you tried to reinstall it? (I mean, you have to install Also have you checked the overall file structure (if this exe is there, or if there is anything else, etc.)? Yeah, there were some problems with BE, it has been logging some parts of newly added code from dayz: namalsk, filters were modified and it should be a bit better.     Welcome VRShiva, the man behind DayZ: Namalsk integration into the bliss server pack, I would like to thank to him again for making this possible! In what universe is extracting archives into the folder confusing? :) DayZ Comm support will be, when there will be enough servers running it. 3 snowmans left to find! :lol: Thanks! Thank you, as I said, everything is pretty much subject to change, my plans will be probably soon to experiment with the moving all chernarus-like buildings, used by Namalsk, under my loot tables, so I would have the total control of all loot on Namalsk. Plus of course balancing of the existing places including potentional bugfixes (in case of the objects, it has to be more than just one building because of data size + maybe I could even add with it new interior place, who knows? :P ). Thank you :beans: , yeah, well, it is something I could imagine it should be like that. :) The project's direction will be taken exactly by these feedbacks, it is soo useful, because some things just can't be tested in few people or in small timeframe.     This is confirmed to be because of the wrong file called from bliss created mission as they had couple of fixes and one was part of the file, which was taking care about wearing clothes. So the mission will be updated on the servers, which are now testing the bliss package. If is there functional server based on the mission file from the official dayz: namalsk website, it should be fine, as there are all paths correct and switching clothes was done and tested.

    I saw bliss test server running it (not sure if still?) make sure you have host as "namalsk" in the filter window (and nothing more), but anyway, I have couple of downloads on the server files too (so we will see) and guys from Bliss should be able to share their testing package with other hosters too. Because they basically made it working yesterday on their branch, now it will go through the testing period and the solid support (adding it to their git) will be later after these tests.

    Yeah, we will see,, hopefully yes :) :( well thats my server...I do have some problems, most of people see 2500 or ? ping, they are having connection failed and they manage to connect in like 20 tries, but not sure why ping is stable then (around 30) and they can play normally? I had to turn off my server since I had to start working => can't keep server running since my laptop is busy with work, so, yeah, my server is down, but it will be back - I will mention it here when ;)

    Well my is running (filter Namalsk).. but I do have some sort of connection failed issues for most of the players :D You can try it, who knows :) I've been in talks with Bliss server pack team, they are able to provide some public testing server as they need to validate their build with DayZ: Namalsk before going out officially so expect something here too

    Thanks! Good progress, yeah, well, you will find out! :D As I said earlier, it will depend on the popularity (server count..). If you have in your root directory @NC folder, then just launch Arma II: Combined Operations and you can even allow it through the ingame mod manager, this should be the easiest possible way of doing it. Next, and more recommended is to use any awesome community arma II launcher, which can allows you to manage mods and launching Arma II. This post made my day :D, you HAVE CLEARLY NO IDEA what about you are talking. So, please, do some research before posting something like this, or just return to your Far Cry 2 map editor ;)

    So just the heads up for you guys, DayZDB loot map should ready within next 12 hours. Release trailer is coming up (hopefully today, too), DayZ: Namalsk integration into bliss hive is coming too, and the needed server files & client should be hopefully up on the nightstalkers.cz website within 12 hours too.

    DayZ Commander support will depend on the popularity (server count..) AFAIK. For the bloodsucker case, scripts would need to be redone (they are not really mp friendly and would need to have more changes so he does not starts killing the infected for example). I agree, it could possibly create some new pve challenge, but I would like to focus during next updates more on the loot tables and balancing based on the feedback (+ maybe some little things..). KingOchaos: Permanently broken :P (at least, that's how it "works" now..). So you can basically equip it, but you can't use it. I mean, I added it mainly because it is good to have more entries in the loot tables :)

    Yup. The map itself is 12.8km x 12.8km, island(s) are on the 7km x 7km area. (yeah, that 12.8km x 12.8km is overkill, but, who knows? More space for something more :D - it is actually one of the remains from the OFP -> Arma 1 island convert (yeah, this island exists somehow in Operation Flashpoint too :D)) You just need to go through the whole Update 2 description, download is in the bottom part, because I want you to read everything :D I also added armedassault.info links now. Well not exactly aliens, but I was thinking about adding rare spawn of bloodsucker (mostly invisible creature with glowing eyes), but it would require some more scripting changes and mainly, you do not want to meet this monster, zombies are just tickling you if I should compare their effectivity with my bloodsucker :D Thanks all! DayZ: Namalsk will be hopefully released within a few days (I am really expecting it by the end of this week).

    Thank you Matt and Dean! :) Anyway, to all who want to try Namalsk and Namalsk Crisis campaign - today has been released second major update for Namalsk Crisis and Namalsk, so be sure you have this version before playing! Links are already up on armaholic.com (backup on the http://www.nightstalkers.cz too, hopefully will be soon also on sixupdater) (This version will be of course needed to play DayZ: Namalsk too).
