Cherno and Elektro are hotspots. The wilderness, obviously, is not. The fact that some places within the cities see more combat than other places doesn't change anything. Obviously, combat is not going to be spread out perfectly evenly.

Steam won't let me add you guys for some reason. I need some help... I ran out of ammo and I broke my leg. I'm in Pustoshka. I'm also at about 6k blood, so a bloodpack would be nice, but the morphine is my main concern... I don't have much to pay you back with unless you want some camo clothing. If none of you guys see this for a few hours, I'll have probably gone to sleep... PM me and I'll try to get in touch with you tomorrow. EDIT: never mind, broken leg disappeared somehow -

I have a question that is semi-unrelated to the one I asked a few hours ago. I have read on the wiki that if I die, I have about two days to find my tent and get my stuff back before it disappears. I also understand that I cannot pick the old tent up. Is this still true as of the recent changes to tents?

Well, never mind... either my stuff didn't save inside of my tent, or someone found it... and if someone found it, I have to give him MAJOR props... that tent was way the fuck out in a forest with no obvious land marks that someone would want to go by... someone's a fucking bloodhound, lol

Yes, it's an invisibility/invincibility bug. It happened to me when I had 1.7.1.4 and was one beta patch behind. I haven't heard of any complaints from people running 1.7.1.5, so if you're not there already, you could try updating to that to get away from them. On the plus side, the hive server never saved my new location or items, so he probably won't get to keep any of the stuff he took. -
No, it's not. I was prone and I crouched - without moving around - to try and pick up some gear, and I heard a BRRRAAAAAAWFAHGKHKAFHFKSAHJ and was charged by a zed.

I enjoy it a lot. I got my brother to start playing last night when 1.7.1.4 superzeds were out... we played on a night server and he loved how crazy difficult it was, though he also appreciates the reduction in difficulty that came with 1.7.1.5. I have to say that spawning without a weapon, while a bit frustrating, adds a lot of needed difficulty to the game. I also have to say that zombies can still see through buildings. Just mentioning it so that Rocket is aware.

Negative, nyxe; there is currently nothing preventing you from flying outside of the map. Many people hide tents and vehicles out there.

According to the wiki, it only fires HE grenades, but I swear I've seen smoke grenades for it. What does it fire and what is the best way to use it?

A little. The grenade sight is permanently upright, and it takes me a small amount of extra time to see where I'm aiming.

I met a guy inside of the tower at the Belota airstrip... he had newbie gear (no weapon), so I didn't kill him with my Glock. We talked for a bit and he let me have a GPS that we came across. After that, I spotted an AKM in a corner, so I let him have that as a thank-you for giving me the GPS. We walked outside and aggro'd some zeds (1.7.1.4 zeds with super-hearing), and we got pinned against a wall. I knew we didn't have enough ammo to fight them off, so I threw a smoke grenade in the air, killed the other player, took his stuff, and hauled ass into the forest to try and lose the zeds. Sorry, bro. -

Yes, you die more often, but you CAN still get good loot. In 1.7.1.4 (with super zeds) I was able to successfully loot the Balota Airstrip and get a M16A2+M203 and a G17. Edit: I went in there with nothing but the starting gear and some glowsticks, mind you. -

From what I've seen, visual aggro is fine; it's sound aggro that keeps drawing everything. Apparently this is being fixed later today.

Yes, actually. I had to get up to cook some food, and when I logged back in I appeared right next to another player at the Balota Airstrip. We scared the shit out of each other. I had a gun and he didn't, but I let him take an AKM that we found in the control tower because he let me keep the GPS. After that, we got swarmed by zeds... I knew that we didn't have enough ammo to take them down, so I had to shoot him, throw a smoke, take his gear, and GTFO. Sorry bro.

YES, I HAVE SEARCHED THROUGH THE FORUM; no, I have not stumbled across anything that was very helpful. I updated to 1.7.1.4 and installed the latest beta patch. I am now stuck at the screen that says "loading." There are no ellipses (...) after the "Loading" message. I cannot access any chat channels. Disconnecting/reconnecting and switching servers does not help. If there is already a thread about how to fix this and I've somehow missed it, please direct me there. Thanks in advance
