Will it be possible to crawl through entire hordes of infected like in the mod ? I know this was more somekind of a limitation and not a feature but always a real big thrill :)

Yeah I really hope they will make it more like in the mod...making zeds nearly blind only able to see very bright colours ( smoke grenades ;) ) and more reacting to noise, movements and smells. -
I would suggest to add a small chance of spawning a hoard even with a few players around but also a chance to spawn no zeds at all even with a lot of players around.Also will zed spawning be effected by niose ( gunfire) ? I mean 10 sneaky players should not spwan more zeds than 2 players doing a drive by :)

1.) will the enfusion engine allow rivers and water falls etc ? 2.) will enfusion engine add finally a proper god looking lod system for the outer terrain ? 3.) will enfusion engine support things like craters, trenches, caves etc ? -
Also with the new sound tech being soon merged into enfusion engine...any info if or when we will get new infected sounds. Honestly I can't stand them any longer. After 4 years they are a real game killer for me as far as it goes for the infected :) Maybe it"s just me but when i saw the last video showcasing zeds spawning etc with all the cool new skins and animations and stuff it was all ruined for me by these same old monkey screams.

About the dynamic infected spawning....will it just be connected to how many may players enter a region or as well to things like how much noise they make for example. ? I mean two players shooting would/should attract more infected than 10 players sneaking in the shadows. Also, will there be a small chance to spawn no zeds at all or to spawn for example a large group/herd with just one or two players around ( or even no player). I think things should always be a little bit unpredictable :)

Will we see more Arma tech being merged into the Enfusion Engine in the future like firing from vehicles ( i guess this is really needed), Scuba Diving ( just a cool feature) , Slingloading ( lifting cargo containers or broken vehicles to base would be awesome), vehicle in vehicle transport (having a bike or dirt bike in the back of the truck or bus)? Just curious since this new engine will be I guess the new engine for BI games in the future ( A4 ) anyway :)

Regarding modding....Will we see a BI licence for modding A3 using Dayz resources and vice versa ??? -
How many and what kind of world containers can we expect ? For me this has always been high on my personal wish list and I am really excited to see this finally happening ! Also how much loot items will be stored in world containers percentage-wise compared to total items ? I guess having maybe a third of loot spawning inside containers should give some nice client side performance bonus since these items would not be rendered ingame. Will 0.60 also bring all the map changes like the overhaul of Cherno and Elektro the radio station on Altar and the contaminated military area ? cheers and keep it up :)

@ Hicks_206 Will we see DayZ resources being licensed for modding other BI games in the future ( after 1.0 that is of course) like the Arma series and vice versa ? Would be a huge benefit for both games and modding communities :) cheers and keep it up :)

For me it always seemed that Zombies/Infected (and the lore around the outbreak) sadly never have been an important part of DayZ and its development. It always felt more they are doing them just because they have to because a lot of players being huge Zombie genre fans. Rocket stated that he used zombies just because he needed some easy to create background for an apocalyptic scenario and survival simulation and I also remember Brian Hicks saying that Zombies will never be a real big thing or threat in DayZ since he thinks the game is more or even all about player interaction. Hear the devs talk about all the cool stuff they are doing...basebuilding...vehicles...electric grid system...etc etc etc (fantastic job no question) but did we ever hear them talk that enthusiastic and detailed about zombies and their plans for them during the last 3 years ? Refusing to create or even think about any lore about the outbreak is another indicator for me...and yes I know they are saying the reason for this is that they want it to be as much sandbox as possible.... The devteam has made an amazing job so far and I am absolutely sure they will continiue to do so, but regarding zombies it is more than understandable that people getting worried sometimes, especially if they have been around here since the early days..... just my two cents -
...still thinking of Arma Allive...this ist working well even with complex AI, strategic objects, convoys, patrols, roadblocks etc etc etc...zeds would just have to wander or idle around and react to noise (basically) ....if some of you ever played it just think of how amazing this could simulate a zed population :)

Regarding Zeds...is it still the plan to spawn all Zeds with server start which is and always has been a stupid idea in my eyes ? Why not creating a system like the one Arma Allive uses ...means simulating a huge infected population on the map ( movement, reacting to noise, wandering etc) but spawning them only into the game world in a specific distance around the player. just my thoughts

I am asking for world containers since ages now and I absolutely agree that it would be an absolute waste to ignore them and their possibilities and advantages....I don't think that it will work well to spawn more than one or two loot items in garbage bins, mail boxes, desks, fridges, rubbish piles, wardrobes etc without having a lot of bugs and clipping issues...beside the time and resources that it will take to make it work this way. I absolutely can not understand why not using already existing stuff to create containers ( I guess nearly everything could be used)...especially since backpacks, multipurpose barrels, tents and vehicles work the same way...this could even probably help with performance ( not sure about this). Last but not least even searching world containers could be done in an immersive way....for example it could take a specific amount of time to search a container and make some noise depending on how you search...for example searching in a hurry would make a lot of noise including a chance to miss or even damage some items. Probably this would be more immersive than having one or two pipsis in a fridge and dragging them from the vicinity window into our inventory... just my thoughts

I wonder if we will be allowed to use Arma 3 maps and or assets for modding DayZ and vice versa at some point... -
Waking up at the the beach ( whole coast from Bay Tikhaya to Berehzki ), wearing random civilian clothes and having a random item in the inventory ( could be a few matches, a map, a lockpick, a flashlight etc) :)

Sorry...of course fishing boats and rubber boats,,,Using boats should be the only way to transpot loot from the islands to the mainland. This and removing a few of the obsolete barracks and military camps would allow to reimplement also Balota and Kamenka player spawns....

I am absolutely missing the Kamenka and Balota spawns.....In this case I would remove the barracks at Zelenogorsk and the base between Vybor and Kabanino as well as the tent camp near Myshkino...swimming fully geared should not be possible for longer distances...fishing and rubber boats should be implemented as soon as possible...
