Regarding the background of the map we need more russian weapons. Weapons like the 1911, the Winchester 1866 and the Lee Enfield are simply out of place in a country like Chernarus. I would keep them but make them rare instead of common.

We are hopefully not talking about getting faster, stronger sneakier, or doing more damage blablabla. We are talking about things like being a medic or reparing and flying a helicopter, maybe bringing a generator back to life and restore electrical power or building an underground base...things that need a lot of special knowledge, training and also teamwork. In this case I fully agree with our sparkling wine loving friend, RL knowledge mixed with ingame experience (subtle microskills) and somekind of hardcore simulators ( including minigames) could be a solution....using simple minigames only or implementing a skill/perk system sucks... -

I notice more and more people doing drama posts telling us that Rocket will fuck it up because he does not include npc's and quests, does not know how to use a camera properly, does not use a new engine..does not cerate a complete new anim system bla bla bla.... For me this sounds like a learning curve for the more complicated stuff combined with social interactions, all working behind the scenes. I am sure this would not include things like fighting or sneaking skills etc. -
as far as I know the russian army and law forces are using the Jarygina Pja ...17 rounds 9x19 mm (Nato compatible)..very sexy :) ..as I stated before I really hope for more russian weapons regading the Russian backgound of the map Edit : finding Makarovs though seems to be very realistic

by ragdoll you mean an improved physic system for the whole game world (havoc) or just implementing ragdoll anims for death animations and stuff ?

Since the new health and disease system will be one of the most important features of the game it should be in right from the start....but the whole thing seems to be a huge secret ;)

Which is better Taviana, Namalsk, Panthera, or Oring?

if you want a huge map for pvp ( a lot of clans) and 1000+ vehicles... than go for Taviana ...I personnaly find it boring as hell and overachieving....Namalsk provides a much better unique and creepy atmosphere including its own background lore, a lot of cool military loot and pvp ( hot spots) but not so much to explore compared to Taviana...btw the Nuke Outs (emissions) and Blood Suckers can be disabled on serverside...I would go for Namalsk.... -

Make a coctail out of Rabies, Ebola and Avian Influenza, add some fiction (Rage virus) and there you go...you've got all symtoms needed for our scenario

exactly...i would like to see a few structures that can be cleaned and used as bases anyway...if let's say there is no player activity for more than 48 hours zombies could start to spawn again....

As someone else stated before...comes the day modding will be implemented people can go and add npcs/quests, 1000+ vehicles, skilltrees or whatever they like ( even zombieponies)
