    functional helmets...cars with working doors....interiors for all this huge buildings...leaving trash,...dogs....jump animation...standing on cars....4000 zeds...etc etc etc...( so many exciting infos) and people whining about the blue sky, motion blur and video settings.... sorry but f.ck you !!

    An easy way to build bases

    You would need too much stuff to build a large camp and even if you could manage to build one it would not be really safe. Also how would you manage the zombie and loot spawns in such places and how could you handle players building base and then going offline for a longer time...how could you implement a safe working gate ? I think your idea would only work for temporary camps but not for real safe bases....

    "Barbwire, sandbags, tank and bear traps could be used to fortify this places even more." But I would do this optional and not as a basic structure building mechanic. Keep things simple :) Only thing needed is a predefined area, a working gate and some scripts.

    I do not want to use fuctioning vehicles ...I want to add a push script (used in Iron front 44 which is based on ARMA2) so that these vehicles or gates can be pushed forwards and backwards...that's it but yeah you know what I mean :)

    What If the whole shit started only a few weeks or months ago...nobody would look like someone from " The Road". If DayZ really would take place years after the infection there would be no zeds left. This means the scenery should look like in The Walking Dead or 28 Days later.

    What is „The Infection“? a definition (-approach)

    In 28 days later the infected attack only the uninfected. This means they are able to identify (somehow) who is infected or not. Does this mean the rage virus has a brain ? I don't thinks so....

    currently downloading :) btw it is interesting to see how much of Arma 3 is used for DayZ...let's hope for the ragdoll and the vehicle physics

    What if our zeds still would feel hungry ( basic instinct) but of course have forgotten how to open a can (of muffins for example), how to use a microwave or how to harvest etc. In this scenario hunting, killing and eating the survivors would make sense. :P

    As for animals and z's, i dont really know. If the Z's were starting to attack animals, all the animals would have left tbh. They arent staying where they are hunted, thats basic prey instincts. For that to be believeble, we would need a complete mehcanic for animals, kinda like zombies now. So they need to check range and who is near them and what not, or else it would seem like the animals arent noticing they are being killed Which would be very bad hehe. One difference between 28 days later and DayZ is that our zeds seem to be cannibals ...and if they eat us... I guess they would eat animals too :D. I agree that animals would need better AI and animations, but I am sure this could lead to a lot of interesting scenarios.

    this was stated by Ivan last year (Gamestar interview)...maybe this has been changed, but I don't think they will release new modding tools for the alpha...

    Too much pvp not enough survival

    Like in "The Walking Dead"... zombies are roaming around. A small place ( like Hershels farm) could be flooded and overun by them but a whole village could be relative safe.....not easy to simulate in a game though.
