Nobody talking about the notes? This is the fucking sexy awesome stuff that I exactly was hoping for :thumbsup: -
What we see atm is more or less the pure animation. A lot of testing and adjusting is needed now to get the zombie ai, anims and pathfinding work properly. For example if there is only a very small chance for making a jump attack you will not see the infected doing this repeatedly. One other important thing is to add something that prevents infected from running in line one behind the other when chasing a player...etc etc

Exactly ...but no predefined areas really needed.As Rocket stated it will be possible to clear entire regions and Zombies will not respwan as long there is player presence in this area/region/zone (whatever). So what else do we need...a mechanic to barricade buildings...a bit of stuff like barricades, traps, tents...maybe a few goodie like power generators ..that's it...let us write the stories... Instances could be used for creating new areas to explore like caves, mines etc..... cheers -

before the football match ....(probably in the pub) our team will kick ass....we are the champions (sing it)...the new coach is fantastic ....glory glory ( whatever team you prefer)..... the match starts and after 15 minutes 0:! this team is so hopeless...the worst team since 25 years..the new coach is an helpless idiot...I will never go watching this shit team again..fuck them after 90 minutes 2:1 in the pub again...(everybody is absolutely pissed and singing) best team ever..I always knew that...they've kicked as so badly....the new coach is a fucking genious...will support this team until my last day... exactly this will happen. ;) -

There is only one thing I am not happy with and that's the inventory "items on the ground window" (taken from Arma 3). It seems to make looting very easy or do I miss anything ? -

The only chance to keep the stupid casual CoD players out ( that's the players who kos mostly without any reason) is to make games as difficult and realistic and frustrating as possible ( like Arma series or Red Orchestra for example). -
now something completely different... Has anyone else watched the arma3 beta streams ...The big island Altis is going to be absolutely amazing and I was wondering if they would probably use it for a Day Z Addon ( new map) in the future.

As I said somewhere else..it is not a good idea to implement everything on one map..rivers, big cities, swamps, deserts, snowy mountains etc etc etc . Would be better to explore different settings on new maps... just my two cents

Editing the existing game/map using a map/mission editor as it can be seen on so many servers atm NO !!! Modding Support for new maps YES (as long as they do not change the vanilla game mechanics)
