    good idea...but I am pretty sure Bi will not mix their games and keep altis unique for arma3 since then team is that proud of altis...

    I would not mind an optional group spawning mechanic for starting a new game together with friends or as suggested by Zeppa starting with a small group of random people. But clan spawn mechanics like respawning near your squadleader after being killed or at your base for example are completely out of question. Also picking up respawning team members at the coast by chopper or car will be hopefully stopped by making fuel extremely rare in the SA. Being able to carry only 2 long-guns for gameplay reasons as suggested by Codestargod sounds like a very good idea to me. "He should also not be allowed to use the same username as before, but rather, take on an entirely different character. Any accumulated abilities would be wiped clean, and in effect, be an avatar noob all over again." agreed but I would go that far and also wipe out any saved tents and vehicles...btw will containers like tents, vehicles or boxes/crates work the same way as in the mod ??

    Any infos about the "looting your own dead body" shit ? (Sorry but I really don't like this) Would be cool if there would be a script that does not allow you to loot your own dead body or a spawn system that spawns you as far away from your dead body as possible so that you are not able to reach it in time for looting it... just my thoughts....

    teamspeak....team spawn...perk and skill trees...good and bad...black and white....metagaming....tutorials....singleplayer..quests....blablabla...most people are so used to this casual stuff that they are not open for new ideas and creative ways of gameplay... player character progress or social evolution for example should be noticeable more subtle....you meet a soiled guy with long hairs and a long beard ...you know this guy must have survived for a really long time....if his hands and face etc are covered with dried blood..you know that he has recently looted a lot of dead bodies or gutted animals (or humans) ..if he's got the shakes he obviously is a cannibal....if he's got a lot of scars and shit he seems to be somekind of fighter type of person ...you can also do a lot with face expressions and idle animations ...wild staring eyes...shakes...nervous convulsions..etc etc etc...not to forget clan tattos and stuff... STOP CASUAL GAMEPLAY

    The only way to keep the idiots and kids out is to make the game as non casual as possible...rare loot...ultra rare military loot...a lot of micromanagement...realistic vehicle controls like in ToH...no group spwaning...no metagaming ( as far as possible)...no teamspeak ( just dreaming)...no crosshairs...no third person ( more dreaming)...no server hopping...no combatlogging....etc etc etc... AND NO SHITTY HOBBIT HOUSES AND GARDENFENCES LIKE IN ORIGINS OF COURSE

    I have to agree with Frankie...I know I am repeating myself but I am no fan of the open alpha idea I would prefer to see Chernarus+ finished first as well as all basic game mechanics ( which does not include basebuilding and vehicles) before going into an open beta. For the alpha I would be cool with a larger scaled closed alpha testing including straming and regular updates and screenshots. just my two cents

    Yap Rocket always stated that progress (levelling) in the game will be made by getting better gear (weapons) .. For the blood and poop stains...they can't do unique interiors for every single house, so if they would create for example a bloody slaughterhouse interior for let's say the small yellow farmhouse...all small yellow farm houses in the game would have this bloody slaughterhouse interiors, which would be very boring pretty soon. But in this case I see a lot of potential for modding. For example a nice mod would be making interiors special and unique...just my thoughts

    .You mean Arma3 Dayz mod provides the same gameplay as DayZ Sa and has got the better graphics...that's cool so nobody has to wait for the SA then.. :facepalm:

    I for example did not know that it will be possible to chain someone....we could easily talk for hours about what consequences this will have for the gameplay...from robbery to executions or other really sick stuff...

    head shot = instant kill (don't kow if a seperate hitbox for the heart is possible...would be cool though) 1-2 body hits can't stop a zed 3-4 body hits zed will fall down and start crawling to reach you 5- 6 body hits zed is history something like that... (killing zeds seemed to easy in the vids)

    Ivan said that it will take two or three months to get the map additions finished (all the new areas in the north etc) and I was just thinking if it wouldn't it be better to wait until then using the time for improving all the stuff and doing a maybe bigger scaled closed alpha testing instead of an open alpha .... no offense...just some thoughts since I would not mind waiting a few weeks more...

    Wouldn't it be better to wait for the map being finished by Ivan and Senchi and use the time until then for fine tuning and tweaking all the stuff that really looks awesome or at least very promising so far ( items, anims etc) ?? We are speaking about 2 or 3 months and I think this time will be needed anyway to get all the basics to work properly even for an alpha.
