The most important thing is to get as much zeds ingame as possible and to make them more dangerous....means there should be a chance to get an infection after a zed attacked you..there should be a chance that he knocks you down or even out...or disarm you. Also very important..sounds..we need new and creepy sounds.... Btw I prefer them being slow in combination with a proper player stamina system :-) -
First of all you can listen to wip radio stations ...imagening radio wasteland from fallout 3 this is a great addition for rollplaying. Beside that there are enough people like me who don't like the metagaming aspects of teamspeak and will prefer using the radios for communicating over long distances. Also you can use them to distract zeds...to spy people out..or just for fun to troll people :-) People should be more creative instead of just running to military bases and shoot people....

I am playing Arma since OPF and DayZ since the very beginning ( tested also most of the maps including Taviana which is completely overated in my eyes),,,playing and modding games myself since more than 20 years now...you should be more careful calling people kids ... :)

I stated this somewhere elses before...I personnaly think it would be better to add more than less spawnpointa along the whole coast from Kamenka to Guba.. To stop this deathmatch shit going on I would suggest to remove military weapons and ammo ( currently the M4) until the loot spawn system works as intended... -

Instead of reducing the spawn points they should even add more spawn points along the whole coast up to Berezinot.To temporary stop this stupid deathmatch atm, military weapons (M4's) should be completely removed until the loot system is implemented/ballanced properly. Until then it should be ok with the Mosin, a shotgun and the sidearms...in other words civillian guns which are scattered all over the map and not concentrated at 3 or 4 hot spots....this would stop farming and make server hopping obsolete until we get proper solutions for that.... just my two cents -

Voted for russian weapons only Ak's, Nagant M1895 Revolver ( would go so sexy with the current holster) the Saiga shotgun and the Bison :)

How do you fill a canteen? Can it be done at a pond?

you must have the canteen or bottle in your hand...switch to first person and look down...if this does not work go into deeper water or crouch...works perfectly for me -

I don't know what kind of player you are...but you can get a lot more out of this game by playing it properly and not just rushing from one military base to the next....being mudered by CoD kids or kill a few fresh spawns yourself ...then do the same thing again and again and again....

search the little shacks, industrial and farm buildings and garages ( as you would in real life)...get a helmet ( same places) and craft some bandages using your t-shirt when spawning at the coast ( when you start bleeding and have to run there will be no time for it) avoid the airfield at the coast !

Since you do not kill for the loot you are not playing a bandit but a psychopathic sniper :P But this is something that belongs to DayZ and makes looting the big cities more exciting. It forces players to play more tactical and even give them a chance to fight back...wondering if you that good without 3.Person ??

damnation...the books...I wish it would be possibe to have all these books persistent and to build a complete library

yap people are moaning for more content but I've never met a living soul out there...same goes for the new city layouts... Zelenogorsk, Stary Sobor and Polana are amazing...or things like the stone circle on Altar or the new castle near the old fields ( very scary) :)
